Tässä on paljon samaa kuin alkoholin käytön häpeämisessä. Yritetään painostaa jos joku kieltäytyy ilman "hyväksyttävää" syytä kuten raskaus tai lääkitys, autolla kulkemistakaan ei pidetä riittävänä vaan aletaan ehdotella että voit sä yhden ottaa tai hae se auto huomenna.

Enpä olisi arvannut että tämä happotrippi saa noin korkeaa tunnustusta. Mutta hienoa että pelejä aletaan tunnustaa taiteenakin eikä vain vastentahtoisesti taloussivuilla niiden kaupallisen arvon vuoksi.

Itse ehdottomasti haluan käydä toimistolla, koti ei ole työpaikka. Onneksi nykyiselle työpaikalle pääsee vartissa pyörällä ja meluisan avokonttorin sijaan on muutaman hengen huoneet. Toivottavasti tuollakin tajuaisivat tehdä uudet jollain fiksulla pohjakaavalla.

Lukujonossa oli ihan hyvä pointti, että mikä motivaatio WSOY:llä oli lähettää Liukkosen Vierastila ehdokkaaksi, kun noita ehdokkaita ei valita kaikista ilmestyneistä kirjoista, vaan pitää erikseen ilmoittaa kirja mukaan ja osallistuminen siis on maksullista per kirja. Ei ainakaan kirjailija hyödy eikä voi hyödyntää tulevien kirjojen markkinoinnissa.

Onko tuosta yhteistyöstä jotain todistusaineistoa? Samanlailla kuin noiden kiristyskirjeiden tehtailu on liukuhihnatyötä, niin on niiden alemmas neuvottelu digitaalisiin asioihin erikoistuneelle asianajotoimistolle, eikä tuollaisen palvelun tarjoaminen automaattisesti tarkoita että olisi jotain salaisia sopimuksia.

Jos edes siirtäisi nyt ne mihin on käytetty Xitteriä. Kapasiteettia ei pitäisi edes niin hirveästi tarvita, kun suurin osa lukee viesteistä omalle instanssille replikoidut versiot eikä suoraan lähdettä ja ne fediverseen replikoidut viestit ovat vielä saatavilla muiden instanssien kautta vaikka lähde väliaikaisesti putoaisi.

Can't wait an indie developer to go bankrupt because the super secret algorithm counted updates as new installations and the developer gets billed multiple times for their whole player base.

So... If the Unity's secret spyware and algorithm suddenly decides to count an update as a new installation, you suddenly get slapped with a huge bill. Especially if you release multiple small patches and your whole player base is counted multiple times.

My interpretation was that setting the soundtrack is a minor tone choise, you're still going through the movie the GM has made for you. But if the GM is willing, the players may ignore or demolish all the plot points turning the planned Ocean's 11 to Fast and Furious, or Taken, or Top Gun, or Armageddon except the PCs are the meteorite. Or skip the whole movie and make up their own stage play musical set on the next town over.
