  • Yeah reading the end of the article it seems Net Ease is moving a lot of their overseas development back home toward China. It makes sense. From an American perspective we’ve been told for years by the news that our education system is lagging behind foreign countries. Why pay more when you can get better results domestically. I mean it sucks for the six contractors who were let go, but this is a multifaceted global problem.

  • It’s honestly all I use mine for. There are very few PC games that I play that feel good on the deck but the majority of retro games feel excellent. I also seldom use mine as a portable I have it docked to one TV or another to work.

Just for clarity because I don’t want people to think I’m saying the steam deck is a bad PC gaming substitute the games that I play specifically don’t work well without a mouse and a keyboard. I play a lot of Rogue likes like dungeon crawl, stone soup and I play a lot of Dwarf Fortress and I haven’t found a way to get comfortable controller schemes that remotely compared to just using my mouse and keyboard

  • Sad. This encouraged me to try. I’m stuck on week five currently and I would have never even tried learning to program without it.

Also damn week four was so hard, I’m really getting beat on understanding the video on week 5.

  • Yea for the original Xbox, however neither PC version has those supports built in. And the mods seem to be a mediocre experience in comparison, I may just buy the Xbox/360 versions of Morrowind and Oblivion to play comfortably.

  • This is my go to teams response when I told someone what was going to happen if they didn’t listen to me, then it happens and they come back to me to complain or ask for advice.
