  • Do airlines typically handle 1 year olds flying alone? That seems nuts.

  • ...

  • Fucking Microsoft, with their fully featured toolsets, libraries for everything, fantastic IDE, second fantastic IDE, and cloud infrastructure that actually delivers on the promise of cloud, and isn't just "bare metal bullshit in the sky". Hate those fucking pricks.

  • He in that Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare movie coming out with Henry Cavill.

  • It's clearly there in the first lines of the play:

Two households, both alike in dignity and whiteness, In fair Verona where we lay our scene,

  • "Dude, it was wood. Stay the fuck away from wood!"

  • I like Pedro Pascal, but I thought John Krasinski was perfect casting for Reed Richards.

  • Playing in the yard when I was little, I had sharpened a stick to a point. I saw my little brother running across the yard. In my head, I imagined throwing the "spear" through his legs and tripping him. That would have been enough of a dick move. Instead, I skewered him directly in the ankle. He had to get stitches.

  • I hate you so much.....aaaaarrrrgggg! You have angered me! /s

  • If your goal is rehabilitation, driving people insane with sleep deprivation isn't going to help.

Secondly, think about how irritated and pissy you are when you don't get enough sleep. Now imagine that in an entire prison population. You're asking for trouble.

  • Only corporations should get bailouts! Maybe if all the students formed an LLC, transferred their debt to it, then filed for bankruptcy. It would be fine then. That's the American way!

  • I'm really curious about some details. They both meet this guy. He seems interested. Does he just keep talking to one face and ignoring the other? Were he and Abby kissing, and Brittany's all "Ew, Abby, he's gross". When he proposed, was he like "Will you marry me?" And they both say "yes", and he's like "Uh, I just meant the left side"? How do you not end up dating and marrying them both?! Maybe they are in reality, but they can't say that due to polygamy laws?

  • Probably Musee d'Orsay in Paris. It holds many of the most famous paintings ever. You can walk right up to each piece and get a close look. And it has several nice cafés where you can sit and have lunch or a coffee. It's very chill.

By comparison, the Louvre is a mad house, the popular stuff is roped off, and the cafés are more like a snack bar.

If you're into U.S. (pop) culture, I think it's hard to beat the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. It's got historic aircraft, movie props, costumes, etc. Fun stuff. And it's mostly/all? free so you can spend the day going in and out, having lunch nearby in DC, seeing famous monuments right outside, etc.

  • I haven't done extensive research or anything, but it does seem like the gap closes when the survey includes more people. I'm hoping this indicates a strong margin of error in Trump's favor - though I don't know why it's so consistent.

I'm also hopeful that there will be a large amount of "normal" conservatives that would say 'Trump' in a poll, but are turned off by him enough to not show up to vote.

  • He said that, then put Trump first. What did he do for America besides racist rhetoric, a few miles of border wall that apparently doesn't work, and fast tracked a COVID vaccine you won't take?

  • You don't need to be particularly smart to gang rape and shoot someone. Quite the opposite I would think.
