  • They might not be, but God they are cute. I know they are wild animals, but I wanna get in there and play with them. :)

Zoom in on the face of the one in the header pic. They look like wise, noble anthro librarians from a TTRPG.

  • Up there among the greats with Pokemon: The first movie and the classic Disney movies ;)

  • The Stylus 2024 is an excellent phone, coming from Samsung. It was on sale for $250 last year, which was great. I doubt I'll go back to flagships, tbh. This phone feels nearly as fast as flagships in everyday usage. The only slow part is editing screen recordings or videos, which I seldom do anyways. The headphone jack and microSD card is really nice and surprisingly useful.

  • Bidets are where it's at. Never going back.

  • You own a successful business and are shrewdly saving money in an unpredictable time in world history. You'll be fine. School is always there, and if you like, you can take night classes when you are feeling bored/restless if there's a slow season. Hell, you can go to uni on the side if there's one locally. Don't sweat it, OP. Follow your dreams, date who you like, and live the life that you and your gf want to live. (If your gf becomes a doctor or lawyer, you two can also swing leads on employment while putting the other through school if the relationship becomes serious. That's what my folks did when they were young).

Some of my clients are small business owners that either make it a full-time gig, or do it on the side, spinning up certain industrial shops, then selling them to larger companies that would like to expand to a new region or province. If you ever wanted a change of pace, I'm sure you could do something similar with tires.

  • Huh, that final pose does kinda look like the Osprey aircraft. I always thought they named it after the bird because it sounded cool.

  • All my joycons have drift, and I have several sets. I'm not touching a switch 2 because of that, and the insane cost of games. Nintendo needs to make better hardware.

  • Just get a Motorola phone, the stylus 5g has a micro SD and headphones jack for $250 on sale. I got one after I broke my last Samsung phone, and I was pleasantly surprised coming from S and Z series phones.

  • If it's before noon, it's salvageable. If it's afternoon, probably not. It also depends on how much. If it was a very minor shart (1ml), that's a bit different than actually shitting your pants, imo.

If it's the latter, it may be time to see a doctor.

  • I like the Miele I have, but I don't know if you can find one for $500 CAD. It's a great vacuum though.

  • Not only that, but if you are ever destroyed by a car or something, being married gives you the ability to see them in the hospital and make life decisions for them. I think the default is family, which might be risky in some relationships.

Side note, it's a very good idea for you to get your will and medical powers written up while you are young. You might not be conscious if you get injured, and you may or may not want to be on a ventilator and artificial food for 30 years.

  • We like being married! Were it not for marriage, it would have been significantly more difficult for us to live together as an international couple.

  • Skip the alcohol and go to a modern laser tag arena with friends. Insanely fun. They somehow got the Halo 2/3 announcer over a massive intercom system, and they have similar games. Feels like a match from when we were kids!

  • Please make it a trend to "own the libs"

  • Hyperion is so fucking good, I recently re-read the entire series again.

Canterbury Tales also has some amazingly good stories despite it's age. I guess some things are timeless!

  • Sounds like bipolar disorder, but you must consult a doctor about it, as we won't know enough here.

  • Participated in civics in a very uplifting way. Hopefully it will make the papers tomorrow :)

  • Beef, carrots, beef or chicken stock, three cups of water, spices (Chile peppers or hot sauce, pepper, rosemary).

You can also add additional ingredients like potatoes or celery if you have them.

Heat on low for 8 hours, or high for four. The texture will be better on 8. If you have the time, sear the beef ahead of time so that it has a nice seared look.

The meat should fall off the bone 8+ hours in a slow cooker.

  • I'm so glad I got my second ebike battery before the idiot did this shit. RIP the economy, the job market, and the housing market.
