Other question: Does ot work on Linux now? We tried months ago on Garuda (Arch) and it doesn't boot iirc.

How good does it run in the supported distros?

I love the games vibe. The only thing that fell flat for me was the difficulty curve. After the first third I kinda figured out a loop and "won" the game's economy which distracted from the depressing scarcity of the first hours.

Still very worthwhile for the small stories the game tells around every corner. The short playtime makes also sure that it doesn't overstay its welcome.

"Brittle iron bitches" has been added to my dictionary of insults.

Yeah I wouldn't mind trying out Reaper but I've only heard bad things when it comes to VST plugins.

So annoying that Steinberg takes their time to port Cubase to fucking Mac but not Linux. And even if I use Reaper, then I can't use my Focusrite interface properly.

That's good to know for the future, but I'm currently bound to SolidWorks which supposedly doesn't run at all on Linux :/

It sucks ass, but I don't see how one will be able to change to Linux in those spaces on a professional level. All my private stuff is on Linux systems, though.

Well a 8 mm Rope already can have a minimum breaking load of 50 kN, roughly equivalent of 5 tonne. So if you don't need to store high lengths of wire rope,.this should be absolutely possible.
