  • Oh I get it 100%. It is so hard to keep going and push through the BS. But remember, the exhaustion is the point of their tactic. They want to exhaust people and resources so when the dust settles we are out of will and ability to fight. Pick your battles, bide your time, and don't burn too hot. I know, easier said than done

  • Appreciate the mea culpa.

It might take too much hands on, but a tagging system could work.

    Something like

    [Independent Media] Article Title

    [Corporate Media] Article Title

That also requires the poster to understand the source, which may or may not be the case

  • Holy extrapolation Batman. I do have an issue with a newspaper that has a history of transphobia, but note that my original comment said it shouldn't be your "only source." That is a pretty mild criticism and does not suggest a "personal beef."

as someone who has worked in journalism since the '90s, slights against The Guardian are grievances.

Maybe, just maybe, you should take a step back and see how your personal experience might give you some rose colored biases of your own

  • Also make sure it is a masonry/ceramic bit. In my my experience that matters more than the diamond coating (I use very cheap steel bits). Drill press is also much easier to control speed and depth, so use that if you have one

  • Got ya. Glad it doesn't use much, that was going to be my next question. The only time I have had clogging is when using a many year old filament with bad dimensional accuracy that I did not run it through my dryer. So that is 100% on me.

Still running a V1 Ender 3 pro, though it does have a couple minor upgrades, but that thing is a surprising workhorse

  • I have had glasses for a very long time and never broken a lens, but I have broken more than my fair share of frames. It takes a lot to break a lens, and plastic frames break pretty easily. The worst with lenses is scratches or chips (though chips are also rare for me), and some of that can be mitigated by cleaning with the right cloth. Not much can be done about drops or other accidents though
