  • All of my local gyms in my last 3 areas have been super pricy. Like $75-$150 a month. It may not seem high, but when you can get a franchise membership for $10-$30, it's a hard sale.

I have had luck with specialty stuff though. Yoga is common to have discounts and decent pricing if that's anyone's jam.

  • Good app but they got bought and immediately upped their price by a lot from what I recall. It's why I moved on. I think it was a more than 3x price hike in the US and as much as 5x elsewhere.

Shame because their desktop option is tied to that subscription. I couldn't justify paying that much just to swap phone/desktop.

  • Is € 251.88 the estimated loss in revenue? I would like to say that it only makes sense if you assume the user will be on the platform either way, instead of just not paying and leaving. However, my experience with others makes me believe they will take whatever option to get to what they want.

I think it's a situation for policy but, at least here in the US, our policy makers aren't in the ethical or learned position to be effective.

What I'm saying is, the boat has holes and I'm concerned.

  • I'm using Mint and new to it. Does the Mint app store have more security or scrutiny? I'm cautious as most things are lucky to have one or two reviews listen. Many are zero though and it's not quite clear to me yet how to tell if things are from an official source or if they had review.

  • Ah forgot the steam part.

I figure I would get bored of ESO in 15 or so years when it closes. I suspect any game will lose me at a point. For the time it's online, it would offer a lot.

I'll sub Minecraft out for No Man's Sky. Valheim was close to taking the spot but it just doesn't ring as fun when friends aren't around. I would pace myself big time.

  • Many moons ago I was part of the first group for a new program to build up skills with html, css, etc. I was excited but then found the professor had trouble displaying an image on the first day and I had to show how to the class. I noped out. They clearly weren't ready. Felt wrong that they were taking money.

  • So I'm going for longevity. These two definitely wouldn't be my first choices for top games.

Elder Scrolls Online and Minecraft. There is enough story, social, and creativity that I would hope it works out.

Once Baldurs Gate 3 gets solid modding, and assuming modding is allowed, that takes a spot.
