  • You can also sort files named using this format alphabetically and they'll still be chronologically correct.

  • Right?!

  • My cat puked into her litterbox once. I was so proud of her for that. Sadly it was a one time only thing 😅

  • I'm 29 and it's kinda starting to look like that's just something you can say every decade.

  • Cars have legit gotten somewhat popular as a rampage weapon in Europe. I think knives are still number one but there's a trend for sure.

  • Same here. Lovely little fecker but even if you just faintly smell like another cat she'll throw a tantrum.

  • I do that all the time, my cat doesn't try to get out. She's 10 and not used to being outside. She likes exploring the attic but that's about it. Cats used to be kept on ships and other rather confined environments. Trust me, they don't give a shit as long as they're entertained.

Also you're moving the goalpost by bringing up dogs. And while it's true that cats generally spend less time around each other that doesn't mean they prefer to be alone all day every day. I like living with a flat mate and yet we rarely actually speak. Company comes in many varieties.

  • Absolutely not true. First of all some cats do live in loosely connected groups and can be quite social. Yes, they spend a lot of time on their own but they're not all solitary. You can keep a cat alone (depending on the individual, some just do better with feline company) but you need to spend time with it every day to play. Also inside-cats can be very happy, healthy animals. It's arguably much safer for them and the environment too. More and more people decide to keep their cats indoors and it works great. You just can't do it to a cat that's already used to going outside.

I recommend Jackson Galaxy on YouTube for more information. There are a lot of myths around cats.

  • I'm afraid I can't help. I had the idea for a bear with eye ears and then everything else just sort of fell into place in a creative blur.

  • This fucks over wheelchair users as well as the homeless cause a lot of idiots will see this and be like "see that's what happens when we start accommodating everyone".

  • I'd say prevent them from entering your home alltogether. But I'm not too familiar with very warm and wet climates so Idk if that's even an option.

  • If the fight starts when you're already at a close range melee weapons have a very decent chance of coming out on top over firearms. Maybe not the sock but bats and knives definitely.

  • Beware the pipeline

  • Regarding the nuance part I feel like people tend to use "died" when it happened recently or when they're still grieving and "dead" when they just want to state the fact. English is my second language too though so I might be imagining it 😅

  • You can even get sodium free salami made for cats. Their kidneys are quite delicate.

  • There's a synagogue right in the center of Munich that has been flying the Israeli flag since the October 7 attacks. At the time fair enough but now? I just don't understand it. The Israeli flag is guarded by road spikes, police with MPs as well as private security (rather the synagogue is but that's where the flag is after all) while showing the Palestinian flag can get you arrested. All in the name of combatting antisemitism. It's one big powder keg.

  • My working definition is something like liberals would like everyone to be happy and get along but aren't willing to give up an ounce of their own privilege for that to happen. Also quite ignorant about the actual realities of the social issues they allegedly care about. Can be mixed with many other ideologies because it doesn't have any political substance of its own.

  • Small talk is the equivalent of dogs sniffing each others ass. The topic isn't really the point, it's just a quick and easy way to gauge another person's mood and attitude towards you. It's a skill worth developing. And I say this as someone with social anxiety.
