Where the population us much larger and its basically the same?
Larger population but also more bots, more cortent that's irrelevant to me and more corporate bullshit. And it's been getting worse and worse. I prefer it here. It's a more focused experience but imo that's not a bad thing.
What we do in the shadows. The movie, not the show. If you like mockumentaries it's a must watch. Looks like garbage at times but it works very well for what they were going for.
He doesn't mean it in a "this is what it would look like if non marginalized groups do it" way. He 100% means it as "this is what pride marches are like but we can't call out queer people so I'm flipping the script". It's in bad taste is what I'm getting at. His jokes are based around harmful stereotypes rather than actual quirks of the community.
Iâd have to imagine certain scenes would just be super emotionally taxing for the whole crew.
That's pretty much true. Sometimes actors even quit a role because it becomes too much. There are always exceptions of course (for example shows with many seasons where everybody on set already knows each other well) but especially with method actors the mood of the scene is usually also the mood that's present during the shoot. With theatre it's even worse because you need to get into that role again and again. Takes a certain type of character for that.
