He didn't do well with the rail strikers but I guess he's trying to redeem himself. But I prefer that over a President who's consistently against labor, like any Republican one would be.

Not gonna lie, it seems like a pretty easy racket if you have no morals.

There weren't really famines in the USSR after the beginning, when they fucked up collectivization and then went through a long and brutal war for their people. Same thing with China. They messed up some stuff a lot but they were also basically the first two countries trying a new thing.

But capitalist countries have gone through famines as well, even more so because there have been more of them, and when they were in the same pre-industrial and early industrial periods of their development as well. UK controlled India went through its own famine due to human causes, there was the Great Dust Bowl in the US, basically half of Africa and everything that has gone on there, etc.

I'm going to add onto that The Boys and Invincible. Ya I agree that it's probably one of the better ones.

A good book on this is A People's History of the Supreme Court. People think it had legitimacy because they tend to remember the few good rulings that helped Civil rights (Brown v Board of Education, Roe v Wade), but a lot of it's decisions have been pretty terrible for the people in the US, from their decisions on slavery, segregation (before Brown), the Bush/Gore election results, every decisions they have made lately, etc.

They're not. They're arguing for making them legal, which then allows them to work and prevents the possible below the table abuse.

Maybe Europe shouldn't have fucked up Africa and the US shouldn't have fucked uo South America. You have to admit that there's a certain karma to the situation, although unfortunately the poor and the migrants, as usual, get the worst of it.

Anyone have a tl;Dr on the police and vehicle revamps?

Same. But I have wanted to explore other characters. My current one I made a baseball bat wielding, hard punching, aggressive nomad punk with a heart of gold, with some sniper secondary skills. Basically what I imagined a nomad would be like, with the skills I thought they'd have.

I kind of want to see what it's like as full stealth or a corpo hacker or a street samurai katana wielder or knife thrower.

Ya I'll probably bump it up ahead on the list because I loved the game so much. But I know what you mean, I'm way behind on games. I just beat the FF7 Remake and am in the middle of Horizon Zero Dawn (ya, the first one).

Omg this game is so good. Right after I beat it I went to Reddit and the discussions there helped me answer even more questions and think about it even more deeply. I wish we could copy those communities over to here.

The problem is, what's the point in making a deal with the US when you never know when they'll get another Trump to blow it all up? Now short term deals like this, I can see the point.
