It gave them enough time to read the book so it was actually very effective. Also, the signage is actually confusing so it's joking like it might have been a genuine mistake.

I had no idea that American Dad episode was a parody of a real roast. That makes it even better lol.

They did seem to kind of lose focus on Pierce as time went time on. In the beginning he was a rich out of touch guy, but would give good advice every now and then still or a word of wisdom from his age. But then, the same thing happened to Britta, who got dumber as the show went on, and Chang, who got crazier as the show went on. It might just be a result of the same Flanderization.

You don't see how fascism would be significantly worse for certain groups of people? LGBTQ, Jews, people of color, etc?
