When I was a kid I was annoyed at how much of a grumpy old man he was but now I realise he was only using a sliver of his power.

I think having multiple galaxy spanning events all spun around one particular character is the trouble for me. Didn’t mind Burnham but…spoilers ahead.

Turns out she is related to spock. Oh and started the Klingon war. Oh and finished it. Oh and also she was the only one who stopped the apocalypse cos it was actually her mum who was a time traveller. Oh and she disobeyed all the orders but got to be captain. Oh and then something about another galaxy spanning event. I stopped watching not long after. Also part of the beauty of Trek for me has been the ensemble cast full of interesting characters. I honestly can’t remember any of the bridge crew apart from Burnham, Saru and Tilly.

LD and SNW and Picard S3 are outstanding in my opinion.

I was very nearly an extra in this show as it was during lockdown and you needed to live in the same area as the filming. Keep doing the Leo Dicaprio pointing when I see one of the extras and think ‘it could have been me!’

I refuse to believe they got Chief smiling on camera. Surely this is a holodeck program or AI?

I think to Picard, Q is just this buffoon with god powers and chooses to use them purely for wind ups. He knows he can’t do jack to stop him but scolds him at every opportunity.

I would have loved one character to just disappear on a massive bender with Q for a while and come back totally fried but just slot back into their spot on the ship

Similar to how concerts used to cost me about £15 and now you are like £40 for a middle-of-the-road band, pricing for these things has gotten ridiculous. The only way it stops is if people don’t buy them.

Tl:dr Stehelski would like to do something with Michael B Jordan for Rainbow Six but no active development at the moment. Ghost of Tsushima seems more hopeful but he is keen that they would do it justice as Sucker Punch made it incredible. He would like an all Asian cast and for only parts of the movie to be in English.

Interesting for me was that he mentioned doing Highlander 2 where I don’t think we are even at Highlander 1 at the moment!

I guess potentially they will be able to make a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel on Unreal Engine maybe called Cyberpunk 2078: Edgerunner Boogaloo (CDPR I am available to join your team, get in touch).

I know precisely the square root of fuck all when it comes to game design but presuming they can at least map across assets as they will already have the character designs, language, city design etc all sorted so hopefully they will be starting from a lot further forward than CB2077 years ago.

I actually love it. Be curious to see what Sauber do next year with the Alfa affiliation gone.
