  • I am lucky enough to have both the PS5 and the Xbox and personally find very little to pick out between them. I prefer XB controller but think the PS5 one is better quality with the haptic feedback. I love Game Pass and have found tremendous value in it, more so than in PlayStations version though PS still manage to get exclusives.

Mind you the way some of these articles sound is that the whole Xbox gaming division is on its knees and doesn’t sell a machine or make a penny.

  • You know what, I somehow missed McLaren and you are totally right about their quality. Every other team bar Ferrari has either a meh pair or a rookie or one out and out excellent driver who is miles ahead of others.

So I’ll edit my initial thoughts to say that, personally, I think that Ferrari, McLaren and Williams will have the strongest pairings but time will tell!

  • Misleading title from that news outlet as what he said was this

“The terms of Colapinto's loan makes him an Alpine driver, but Vowles has confirmed that at some point in the future, he will return to the Grove-based squad.

The important part, the main thing is this, he is an Alpine driver for a number of years," Vowles told select media including.

Their choice, fundamentally, is to choose what they want from that, and after that, I hope he comes back to Williams”

  • For me it’s one of the strongest driver pairings on the grid if not the strongest, depending on how Hamilton settles at Ferrari cos if he is on fire then he and Leclerc are incredible.

  • They had 750 staff and now about 1040 so really invested in the operational side.

Playground maths time. 290 more staff, I don’t know what the average salary is for those roles as they may be administrative or senior management. So even if it’s £30k x 290 then it’s an increase of £8.7 million on top of the current wage bill. Putting money where the mouth is it seems.

  • Do you mean specifically this year? Cos this is the last year of Renault engines, next year is Mercedes

  • Wouldn’t be Haas cos their relationship with Ferrari is so close. That leaves Alpine, Williams, McLaren as rest are either manufacturers or about to become ones (Audi).

  • I’d like the government to go after billion pound companies who pay minimal tax like Starbucks, Amazon etc. If you make money off the British people you should pay taxes.

  • Love a fruity, sweet cocktail or even just a Malibu and lemonade.

  • Poo. Everyone needs to do it. Some people have bags instead of bumholes. I have a condition which means I need medication or I’ll shit myself into a serious illness or injury. How many people would be saved if they weren’t so hung up on talking about their poo?

  • You know what, I’m in. It’s a big budget movie about a sport that I love and will be at cinema. Only other sport I like as much is hockey which is rarely on. Gotta enjoy it while I can.

But yeah apparently you can be 60 years old and raving in F1 so Nando will be fine for a while.

  • They have been shit at it. The situation with Ricciardo was a poor way to treat a one time favourite from the stable.

  • Will Buxton voicing over archive footage of Zhou and Albon from different races, countries and situations: ‘These two…really don’t like each other. When the pressure builds….dramatic pause something has to give’ finishing with lots of angry looks from both drivers

  • Inconsithable

  • I read a variation of this years ago though the author of the one I read may have embellished it somewhat.

‘Yes, Nikola Tesla demonstrated wireless power transmission, but not quite in the way people often imagine.

In 1899, during his experiments in Colorado Springs, Tesla managed to wirelessly light incandescent lamps over a short distance (about 25 miles is sometimes claimed) using resonant inductive coupling. He used a large Tesla coil to create high-voltage electrical fields, which could transfer energy through the air. Some reports suggest that he successfully powered a bank of light bulbs several miles away, though there is no definitive proof.

Tesla’s ultimate vision was Wardenclyffe Tower, a massive structure designed to transmit electricity wirelessly across vast distances. However, the project was never completed due to financial issues and skepticism from investors like J.P. Morgan.

So while Tesla did achieve wireless power transfer over short distances, the idea of lighting bulbs miles away in a practical, controlled manner remains largely theoretical.’

  • I may be wrong but I believe Nikola Tesla was financed by wealthy New Yorkers after his separation from asshole Edison but they pulled the plug when they realised he was going to give away free power to people.

May be apocryphal but I think there was someone who invented a car that ran on water but big oil stepped in.

  • How often do you use it unfolded versus folded? Are there certain things you prefer one or the other?

Hope you don’t mind the questions! What model do you have?
