There's centrism and then there's "centrism" 😅 (people who call themselves centrist and argue for acceptance of extremist right wing policies and "considering both sides of the argument").

Also the whole idea of left, right and centrist is an overused often oversimplification for the purpose of forming in groups and out groups which is not constructive and leaves no room for nuances.

I'd imagine that's just PR talk because they don't want to tank the price while they're still holding the bag.

There's also a tool to download stuff from tidal, which is nice for if you go broke and need to cancel it for a month or two.

It probably would be possible to make an app to translate it, since all the images are sent unencrpted over http, just need to grab all the links using wireshark or something and then open them all in Google lens... until they rate limit you I guess.

There's a custom firmware already, I haven't tried it yet: https://github.com/X1Plus/X1Plus/wiki

The current firmware has a lan only mode that the new firmware will now require a cloud based login to work. So if you already own one the best option is to turn lan only mode on and block it from the Internet from your router firewall, and uninstall bambu handy™️ and bambu studio™️ and use orca slicer instead.

I assume it will still be able to print from the SD card with the new firmware but not sure, haven't looked into that yet.
