It was like 135 bucks for the cheapest unrestricted ticket in the usa in 1975, which comes out to around 814 bucks today. Where as I can buy a round-trip ticket right now for 220, which is the equivalent of 38 bucks in 1975.
And to really put that into perspective, an average house in 1975 cost 39k, and if you take out a 20-year lone with 9% interest, you are looking at 193 bucks per month for your rent. So a single plane ticket in 1975 was 69% of the average monthly rent for a house.
Idk why I did all this, but my adhd told me I had to.
My local park has nothing but the female trees, and that fruit is stanky but still not as bad as a Bradford pear tree, which smells like a dead asshole.
I work nights and sleep during the day, so I have the exact opposite of this and I also have photophobia. I have cardboard that has silver mylar glued to it taped into the windows of my bed room as well as blackout curtains and then regular curtains over those and strips of foam around the bottom of the door so no light can come in from the rest of the house. This works great in the winter but in the summer the bedroom fuckin cooks so I have to have an ac window unit in and that let's in a lot of light so I have to wear a sleep mask in the summers. It sucks.
And for 40 bucks you can buy a shave ready vintage straight razor and never need to buy another razor again. Then, spend 20 bucks on an ok strop to keep it shave ready for a year.
But jet was bald and super buff and gave off some serious daddy vibes.
