Overheard on a game chat recently. Two guys arguing whether 100 guys could take on a silverback gorilla. One of them insisted that silverbacks have impenetrable skin lol.
If you feel comfortable doing so, you could ask for insight into why your application wasn’t considered. You can try to phrase it around making it a learning moment for you: Can you explain to me why my application wasn’t considered so that I can be better prepared the next time an opportunity arises? The person being asked the question will be less likely to see it was an attack and more of a humble question from a person who values their insight.
At least good ole Tommy Tuberville got his chance to prove he's a bigger chuckle fuck:
"You brought to light the vaccines over the last couple years," Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) said. "I've had my first granddaughter here in a couple of weeks and my son and his wife have done their research about vaccines, and she's not going to be a pin cushion. We're not going to allow that to happen. But you brought that up... I appreciate you doing that."
Asking why the pilot didn’t divert or see the plane is a legitimate question. Asking why air traffic control didn’t redirect is legitimate given the time he asked it (I believe now we know that ATC tried to redirect).
Look the guy is going to be the death of this country, however, the questions themselves, as he posted them, aren’t off base. But again, he’s the fucking president and maybe he could pretend to act with a LITTLE decor.
Pasting my reply regarding Trumps comments from another thread:
The questions he’s asking aren’t wrong to ask. The real problem, IMO, is that he’s the president and can’t simply post those questions publicly. He’s an idiot, though, so this is what we get.
But seriously, he also asks why the Black Hawk pilot didn’t do ANYTHING to avoid a known flight path and I’ve asked the same thing.
It’s a valid question, but I just watched a press conference where somebody explained that these aren’t rookie pilots but pilots looking to log the proper amount of flight hours.

We didn’t go into it with a zero percent rate. The rate was implemented as it began and everything shut down. An understandable move at the time with the information they had available to them.
Ultimately, rates were going to need an upward correction with or without COVID.
One of the biggest victories coming out of Covid was the Fed’s ability to keep inflation under check better than most other wealthy nations. Powell, by many measures, is one of the few good decisions Trump ever made.
I was worried after the rate drop last month that the fed was too comfortable, so today’s news is GOOD for inflation.
Around 11:15 a.m., the agents attempted to enter Hamline Elementary School, Chicago Public Schools’ Chief Education Officer Bogdana Chkoumbova said. School officials initially said the agents were from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which ICE denied. The district said it later learned the agents who visited the school were from the Secret Service.
You ever think that, with the current climate, they overreacted before having all of the information? Why are you choosing to not apply basic reasoning to the situation?
We can either choose to make up crazy shit to get upset about and believe a headline that has already been corrected or be logical people looking for the real problems to direct our energy towards.
Unarmed lol
