  • Yeah that was shit. Squid made more than clear he didn't want armchair diagnoses or input. I've had people do the same to me when I post about my colitis. I had someone a month ago tell me that my medical team was wrong to put me on a particular kind of medication, ignoring the fact that it's these kinds of medications or I go through surgery and have a stoma bag. I'm 27 so understandably my medical team doesn't want to jump to surgery without exhausting all other alternatives.

  • I might move to blahaj. I'm a queer person and the fact it's a queer focused instance that seems to have strict rules about respect seriously appeals plus Lemmy worlds stance and defederating from a few communities over piracy has annoyed me a bit.

  • Ehh. I worked retail both at stocking and tills and honestly you shouldn't worry about it, I'd forget customers almost right away especially because the queue builds up and my thoughts were "oh, fuck I hope I'm not taking to long scanning. I hope I've scanned it right. I hate counting change. I hope I've given the right change. Shit I haven't now I need a manager to come over so the till can be opened so I can give a fucking 10p."

As you can see I hated working tills.

  • Yep. I was interested when I saw the first trailer on the playstation state of play before it was named as stellar blade then the second trailer put me off as eves design made me think teenage boys wet dream and I didn't like the art design outside the city as it was just shades of brown. Now I've read reviews and it looks like something I might enjoy just not at the current price so wait for a sale now.

  • Ehh. You get used to it when you have ADHD. The irony being that many people with ADHD experience RSD. I liked the Reddit sub as it was always supportive, that was the first time I commented in that ADHD community and I won't again.

  • Basically any that appeals. My biggest issue when I last used Linux with gaming was getting non steam games working through bottles or lutris, I had no idea how to set them up. Steam and proton played almost all of my library and worked well.

  • It has. I'm pansexual, I had two guys show interest in me and none of the people I showed interest in matched and there were quite a few. I live in a small population place so that doesn't help to begin with. I also was stupid enough to pay the premium subscription to get nowhere. And tinder wasn't any better either.

  • Yep. No different to Reddit on that. I've posted reasonable comments that were maybe a personal anecdote under someone else's anecdote and I got downvoted and before the pitchforks come out because I mentioned downvoted, I don't care about the points, it's that the comments that seem harmless are being downvoted instead of someone actually saying what's wrong with it. Sometimes I've been an ass and I'll hold my hand up to that and those comments deserve negativity but something that's personal experience that's being shared that gets a negative reaction is shitty. In a recent example I commented under someone on ADHD that I don't like cold leftovers, I've ADHD and I have autistic traits, I would get tested but the waiting list on the NHS would be near a decade and private which I can't afford is no better. I was tested again 7-9 but it was inconclusive at that time my ADHD symptoms were a lot more prominent. I mentioned maybe it's a sensory thing for me as I don't like the texture of cold leftovers and that comment was downvoted. ADHD people can have sensory issues too. Sucks because on the ADHD subreddit I wouldn't have been downvoted and would've had comments in reply that detailed others experiences.

  • Same. I haven't played as long as you as I think but I'm not really an mmo person as I get bored after a few weeks with most but FFXIV has kept me interested for years. And I'm really attached to my WoL at this point and I want to see where the journey goes.

  • My eyesight is so bad I have to shower with my glasses on. I've astigmatism in one eye and I'm really short sighted. My mother who was blind in one eye and had short sightedness was actually able to see better than me.
