  • VR is great, just unfortunate still lacking software. Half Life Alyx and GT7 are amazing experiences unlike anything without VR. Meta’s shit I haven’t tried but on more powerful, Facebook free platforms there’s a lot of great stuff.

  • Bitwarden is more of a direct replacement to Lastpass, but better and open source with self hosting options (see also Vaultwarden). Keepass is a safe stored and managed by you, no syncing or online services are included.

  • That's where you're wrong. Firefox market share is dropping month on month for the last decade with no sign of turning around. Blink is forcing Manifestv3 soon which doesn't support many features uBlock Origin needs to work effectively. Sure, other Chromium forks claim they'll continue to support v2, but we'll see if that lasts after Google removes the code and they have to actually maintain Blink for the first time ever. None of the forks (except maybe Edge) have the engineering staff to keep up with rebasing against Blink.

  • I love it. I do wish they had opened up mods and community servers before launch but the core game plays and looks so good. Most of the missing modes were never core to the game, hopefully they add some of them back after reworking them later (DZ?). It runs even better than GO did on Linux too.

  • And at least for LastPass no passwords were compromised. Saying they "were hacked" and leaving the extent of the hack out implies something worse IMO, it's misleading. The safes themselves are E2E encrypted so they also don't have your password.

That said, my vote is to Bitwarden as it's open source and allows self hosting if you think you're a more reliable admin than they are. Open plus more choice is always better.
