  • I never claimed to have issues? I'm just saying the internet today is just filled with so much bloat and ad trackers. I do like some changes over time, but the era of just raw html and organized websites, and a lack of clickbait was nice.

  • If I'm doing documents, it's basically columns so I can read it like papers. But then one day I just decided to turn a monitor into one big column. Turns out finding wallpapers for it is pretty easy too because mobile wallpapers work.

  • I literally have a vertical monitor to avoid the middle strip of text problem. It especially sucks for higher resolution monitors, it just feels like so much wasted space on the left and right side of the article.

  • No need. As someone who understands web development enough to know I know nothing about web development, it makes sense to me why the internet is what it is today. It's all about establishing a brand and identity now so doing extra things can make you stand out.

While YouTube has gotten more sluggish over the years, I do think some recent changes like ambient mode have been pretty cool. I also support reasonable hardware requirements because things get obsolete over time.

I guess I just miss the simplicity of early internet browsing more compared to all the bloat that exists today.

  • I gotta say the switch commercial is probably the most clever at attracting the Apple folk. Tbh it really is as easy as plugging in a cable and hitting transfer. My mom recently went from Android to Apple and she pretty much has to start completely fresh; some apps even refuse to accept Android backups because Apple isn't huge on file managers.

  • It's an ethical dilemma. It's just an extremely controversial one. You really have to weigh in whether or not we should keep chaos if it means betterment for society as we advance forward.

I don't think things should be as black and white as legal or not. I think the answer lies somewhere between something like decriminalizing drugs. Mostly illegal, but could benefit those who are genuinely seeking help. It would just have to take me a lot of convincing on an individual to need to seek out this material or else they are a danger to those around them.

  • Yes. There is about 1 volume left to cover and the last 1 hour also covers about as much. Tbh I think it's worth it for a series like this. I was an AoT hater for the longest time after S2 but now that it's ending, I think it's one of the greatest pieces of literature I've ever witnessed. The way the story unfolds is unlike anything else I've ever witnessed in any form of media.

  • Competition is good. I've been an Apple hater for years but I'll acknowledge their engineers are top notch (lol). Every company has its good and bad sides.

My personal dream phone would be a combination of a bunch of phones. Give me Apple hardware running PixelOS on a folding screen with a headphone jack.
