What exactly are you referring to that was publically broadcasted?

Because the argument that Trump used was that he didn’t incite the insurrection and that the people who stormed the capital acted on their own.

So to prosecute Trump, the DOJ had to prove beyond doubt that Trump intentionally incited the insurrection.

Not prove it to you or me. But prove it to a Judge appointed by Trump.

While managing the thousands of cases and investigations against the insurrectionists.

Proving intent beyond a doubt to a Trump appointed judge would require hard evidence and could still be ruled in favor of Trump by the judge he appointed.

I provided a source for my information. It comes with citations.

What’s the source for your claims?

Garland started multiple investigations. And did all the things necessary to prosecute a President. Trump delayed that prosecution using his judges.

Then you claim Garland didn’t start the investigations or try to prosecute Trump. And you blame Trumps enemies for Trumps actions.

Garland can’t just lock up the president of the US without due process.

Trump blocked that due process and has sworn revenge on people like Garland.

Now you’re trying to blame Garland for Trumps actions But why? To manufacture consent for Trumps revenge? To vilify Trumps enemies?

Jack Smith was brought in to continue two investigations on Trump that had already been started long before.

Again you’re spreading misinformation.

Not immediately starting the investigation into what happened on Jan 6th 2021 is unconscionable.

The investigation started immediately. The investigation had to complete before prosecution could start.

There were thousands of people involved with the January 6th insurrection. Each had their own case. Each case had its own witnesses and suspects and investigations. All this has to be managed while investigating the most powerful man in the country, Trump, owner of judges. This all had to finish before prosecution.

Why spread your misinformation?

Garland pretended to build a case, with zero intention of every trying to prosecute it.

The January 6th insurrection caused thousands of cases. All cases had its own suspects, witnesses and investigations. All had to be investigated before prosecuting. All while the DOJ had to investigate Trump.

All this had to happen before prosecution.

You want Garland to stop lawsuits now? Didn’t Hunter Biden lose that lawsuit and get found guilty?

He doesn't just run the department of law and order, he runs the department of justice. And we got none of it during his tenure.

We have never seen a president with 1 felony. Let alone all the felonies and laws Trump has broken. The DOJ wasn’t built to handle this.

The DOJ can’t just throw Trump in prison.

The same system that gives Merrick Garland power, gives Trump power.

Even if Garland was to ignore that and arrest Trump without due process like you’re suggesting. There would be another incident like January 6th with Trump followers storming whatever prison Trump is locked up in.

I’ve heard this conspiracy theory. But the fact is there was never any evidence to support this. It seems like a talking point being pushed to garner bad public sentiment for Trumps enemies.

What’s an example of Garland deferring to decorum?

Knowing full well decorum is not an option in organized crime.

I thought the president didn’t have the power to do that. What could he do differently?

I’ve seen it take years to get sentenced after conviction. The 6 months in this case isn’t an unusual amount of time.

The FBI making a statement is not the same as settling a court case to convict an informant for planting evidence.

The case was moving forward the entire time until Trump stopped it.

Trump has been open about how he will get revenge against people who he doesn’t like.

At no point was this investigation not moving forward until Trump had one of his judges delay it.

Too bad there was never a point that the case wasn’t moving forward until Trumps judge had it delayed.

Why would Biden want to slow the investigation against Trump?
