  • Keynesian economics is a macroeconomic theory of total spending in the economy and its effects on output, employment, and inflation. It was developed by British economist John Maynard Keynes during the 1930s in an attempt to deal with the effects of the Great Depression.

The central belief of Keynesian economics is that government intervention can stabilize the economy. Keynes’ theory was the first to sharply separate the study of economic behavior and individual incentives from the study of broad aggregate variables and constructs.

Based on his theory, Keynes advocated for increased government expenditures and lower taxes to stimulate demand and pull the global economy out of the Depression.

Subsequently, Keynesian economics was used to refer to the concept that optimal economic performance could be achieved—and economic slumps could be prevented—by influencing aggregate demand through economic intervention by the government.

Keynesian economists believe that such intervention can result in full employment and price stability.

  • It's Estonian. However, it does federate with American instances. This means, that all your content that you post gets stored in American instances too.

Think of it like this: let's say you had an American follower on Instagram that always saved all your posts. You might be able to completely delete your data from Instagram. What this one user does with your data is however, beyond your control.

  • Oh I agree 100%. But remember, you don't need automobile manufacturing just to manufacture private vehicles. You need it for buses, commercial vehicles (like actual commercial pickups) and so on.

With self driving tech becoming production ready, we'll likely see a huge boost in self driving buses, smaller vans and so on to provide high frequency public transit to low density areas.

We need an automobile industry for that in Canada.

  • I would really love to see tariffs lowered on Chinese EVs with conditions of tech transfer + using Canadian automobile factories for manufacturing.

This would fuck over American car manufacturers + get Canadians access to much cheaper automobiles.

  • I think many might reference the Uyghur genocide + extreme authoritarianism to explain why they call China fascist. I personally, am not educated on the persecution of the Uyghur genocide part, so I'm not so sure.

But China definitely has hints of nationalism and "former glory" or whatever when they start talking about Taiwan and the South China Sea. Sooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • Nah good for you. Maybe it's because of your geographical location/you just being lucky? I have experienced what the video above says quite a lot though.

I'm not American, so I didn't exactly see a lot of Trump (although there was some amount of it). I largely saw a lot of Hindu nationalist content (cuz of my geographical location). The more I disliked the videos, the more they got recommended to me. It was absolutely pathetic.

  • Agreed 100%. Whenever I'm in India, I get Hindu nationalist content A LOT. I briefly attempted the dislike/don't recommend thing, but nope! I was getting absolutely spammed with stuff like this regardless. I just disabled shorts after that.
