a more normal world where having money in the savings account actually earns us interest
this. I had one as a kid and in college but my interest rate was so close to 0% it may as well have been. I ended up closing it because what's the point? I only just opened one again last month because I was able to get a bit over 4% now, but at a diff rent bank because my old bank doesn't even have higher interest rates anymore. I used to throw my excess money into the stock market because that's where all the gains were but now I can get 4% with no risk thanks to the FDIC so that's what I'm doing now. these interest rates are normal and I'd rather this than the Era of Easy Money
also give them the authority to mute a candidate's mic for breaking rules, like talking over someone else when they don't have the floor. perhaps you can have a separate umpire type character. record what's going in the mic and release it 7 days later for transparency but don't let it get messy
that's just ewaste. at least reuse the battery! also every place that sells them should required to have a bin you can drop off your used carts in for recycling.
supporting the fascist ethnostate israel is a danger to world peace and US national secueity. we have to take power away from the crazy Christians (and yes it's mostly christian so we don't have to fund genocide
indeed. what we really need to do is political action outside of just voting, because voting for genocide joe or donald "hitler" trump isn't gonna work very well
it's a race to the bottom, and liberals are so attached to biden for some reason they seem to actively want him despite the fact that some random state senator would be a safer bet. if we get fascism I'm putting some of the blame on bidenbros
Conservativism was always moderate fascism, and center / center left bought out parties aren't attracting people to the polls anymore because they offer nothing
I want a voice controlled assistant that runs locally and is fully FOSS and I can just run on my bog standard linux PC, hardware minimum requirements nonwithstanding
