Yes. There are problems with the DNC. I don't think there's any democrat on here who is 100% happy with how the party is run.
But we're not the party of one great leader. Not everyone who is a democrat blindly follows the person in charge. But every democrat wants change, that's why we vote blue regardless. Or else at best we stay stagnant under republican rule.
Yes. I get what you are trying to say. But earning for a living means diffrent things for people. A lion would try to be a CEO and live a lavish lifestyle off his own dime. A sloth would be happy living off UBI and going to the local grocery store to see what's on sale that day in order to decide what's for dinner that night.
People, like animals as you've greatly pointed out, live the lifestyle they've been given. Some animals (people) go out and live life to the fullest to achieve the most they can (a la a lion going out to get the biggest prey than can catch to feed their pride). Other people (like sloths) are alright eating slightly rotten leaves every once in a while cause they appreciate what the tree has given them (a theoretical situation where people on UBI are happy with the handout life they've been give).
Now you may go into that "theoretical" situation I said and say there will be people that aren't happy on UBI and resort to theft and whatnot. Going back to the animal analogy, hyenas and vultures are a real animal and resort to an unsavory lifestyle according to most. There will always be bad and outliers but you can't base your whole opinion on them
Sometimes I do just grab a cup and eat my cereal dry. Then I dont Even have to use both hands while on the move, just pour it in my mouth single handed.
I was converted to milk first by a kid i was watching. It's better for keeping your cereal harder for longer. If you're a fan of mushy cereal then go milk second so everything gets wet. But if you're a fan of the last bite still being crispy then milk first is the way.
You know, I was once a small child that needed my mother's care. And she enjoyed giving cards for every occasion. So yes I did get some valentines day cards from her.
Tired because we collectively stopped calling people put on shitty practices. I'm guilty of it to in the past. But why not try to make it better? Taking action for the smallest steps could snowball into something bigger
This is funny until someone you love dies and the pile of cards they gave you throughout your life is one of the things that makes you feel closest to them.
It takes like 2 minutes to report something. The fact that you can't be bothered to report shady practices just allows them to run rampant. Even if you think it does nothing, why not just try to make the world a little better? It may actually change something
There's definitely a difference though. Only water bugs will kill me if eaten
