I think we should learn from that. Maybe all forms of power solely resting within the governing function invites corruption.

I haven't given up yet on it because capitalism is definitely not working right now but there is a form of communism that you can have an informed and rational fear of.

Both are kinda horrific.

I'm mostly here because I think social media shouldn't be owned by a corpo.

I have no illusions as to the quality of the people or discussion I end up engaging with.

Being able to let strangers be wrong on the Internet and let it go is just what is required of us if you want to preserve your sanity while keeping an Internet presence.

Fat ladies were prized possessions as they were a sign of nobility.

I usually do this mental thought when on the roads looking at houses thinking a whole family lives there with dreams, joys, tragedies, fascinating stories, etc.

I try to keep that mindset when meeting strangers, taking interest in that unknown world.

Me and my friends converted a few years back and we used to sing over Michael Jackson "Beat it" but with "Bidet" instead.

There is no way back for us.

I'm not sure ownership of property was on the table. I was thinking more being dependent on parental support.

Think of art for example.

That's a different subject. Bringing the bacon is not excluded by what i said but contribution can take many different forms.
