This. The article reads like Millennials are choosing unhealthy lifestyles. In reality, they work two jobs at a desk resulting in no sleep and a lack of exercise. Then after they pay the boomers social security checks that they will never see themselves, are forced to eat shit food because it costs twice as much to eat healthy. And of course the last sentence, that suggests that maybe the mountain of microplastics and other pollutants may have something to do with the rising rates. Yea, no shit.

Sen. Ron Wyden, an Oregon Democrat who chairs the Senate Finance Committee, and Rep. Jason T. Smith, a Republican from Missouri who chairs the House Ways and Means Committee, crafted the deal at the start of the year and secured passage in the House on a 357-70 vote in the hopes of passing it before the start of tax season. But objections from Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee stalled the bill.

This week, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer finally called a vote, in part to force Republicans to take a public stand on the bill ahead of the November election. Sen. Thom Tillis, a Republican from North Carolina, handed out pamphlets to Republican colleagues suggesting that voting in favor of the bill would “give Harris a win before the election.”

Also a quick reminder that this bill needs 60 votes to pass.

Senate Republicans voted against it.

They aren’t going to arrest their own people.

Contact your House of Representatives in your state. This bill is horrible and will help destroy freedom of speech on the internet.

It passed 91-3. Our representatives are ignorant dinosaurs who don’t understand the internet or how it works. I already contacted both my senators. I plan to contact my house members before they make this abomination into a law. I encourage everyone to do the same.

GTFO with this title. The KOSA bill sucks through and through. It’s an online censorship bill that will hold websites accountable for content that is being hosted. Horrible bill if the house passes it in any form.

So far so good. I’m hoping as I age it doesn’t come back quite as bad.

As a kid I was on all the things. I was on inhalators 2-4 times a day and even went to asthma camp (yep, you heard right). When I got older, my asthma naturally lessened so I was a Flovent guy until my insurance stopped covering it. Moved to advair (it is the same medicine as Flovent with something else added) at 220 twice a day. Mostly symptom free.

Totally not a kangaroo court.
