  • You think about it the wrong way. GPS is not passive, it is everywhere

  • I have a wireless keyboard. It comes with its own dongle, so you can expect it to work with some generic keyboard driver. I plugged into my USB-hub, works just fine on Linux. No lag, no nothing.

On Windows? Well, it works, but the audio device I have plugged in just straight up refuses to function while the dongle is hooked up as well. It seems to gobble up pretty much the entire bandwidth. Amazing.

  • Next up: Encryption is now illegal and tech literates are criminals in the UK

  • Not all rest is equally refreshing. If you have a sleep deficit build up, a bad mattress, a loud environment, some psychological or physical condition, it can negatively affect your sleep.

You should look out for stuff that makes you sleep worse. I don't do sports in the evening, I try not to eat too late and I don't look at my phone the second I hit the sheets. There is also a midnight high I particularly struggle with. If I don't got bed before it, I absolutely cannot sleep, unless I take melatonin.

Takes a while to figure out everything for you personally.

  • There is some phrase involving (symbolic) intercourse and uncovering knowledge describing the sequence of events rather well. What was it again? Have sex and be enlightened? 🤔

  • Smart move tbh. Pressure is applied, pressure is returned to sender. Given Zelenskyys now mediocre approval, it might even boost public opinion in his favour

  • When I'm bored, I change how my Plasma looks. Happens once in a while. I would not complain if it ever turns into a "choose global theme | apply global theme" workflow tho.

I mean, it is basically there, except you need to download and apply Kvantum themes.

  • It's because we are depressed nihilists who have given up on pretty much everything, running on gallows homour to a point where we are meming youth slang. Don't worry, we're fine haha... Ha...

  • And punishable by prison in Germany

  • Heard their CO2 emissions are expected to be around their peak, meaning they are supposed to decrease from now (give or take some time).

I have little respect for the CCP, but that's a feat I do respect. Especially given their economic circumstances

  • Literally never had EndeavourOS break in any way.

Last time might have been the GRUB issue that affected all of Arch. If you use GRUB that is, since it's not the default on EndeavourOS. Next time might be old package repos being shut off, but only if your install is older, plus there's already the second announcement with simple instructions regarding that on Arch News. Also, it will just block updates.

I've put two people without any prior knowledge on EndeavourOS, didn't hear any complains either. I myself had no prior knowledge in Linux and hopped from Kubuntu to OpenSUSE Tumbleweed to Garuda Linux in short succession. I only switched to EndeavourOS after Garuda repeatedly broke. Been on it for 2 years without an issue I think.

I know this is not a representative study and as a computer scientist, I do grasp things quickly, but I strongly oppose the notion that EndeavourOS is not beginner friendly.

  • Large presences are not really all that necessary. A presence that is in the way and a reason to respond if they are harmed already goes a long way. At least if our government doesn't cut defense spending again...

  • Absolutely agree, I think what Trump and his henchmen are doing will ultimately be good for the EU, whether that's their intention or not. (I think it's not btw.) What he seems to completely ignore is that it undermines their influence.

If Europe now bets on it's own chips, military tech and strength, currency, etc., this means the US loose economic and geopolitical weight. And on top of that, the perception of the US as an unwavering ally is lost. The US are now perceived more and more hostile. This means he can expect more opposition from the EU when he tries to do whatever random shit he comes up with.

He's so incredibly arrogant, he thinks everyone is so dependent on the US that they can't refuse them anything, now and forever. I'm not sure I'd want to take that bet while I don't have to.

  • Jokes on you, I got mic and cam on a physical USB-switch. So unless I go in "conference mode", your attack is futile

  • I said you can use a bidet. Or have a poopy butt and live in denial if you prefer

  • You should consider wet wipes. They are a total game changer, if a bidet is not an option. When you think the worst is gone, use one (1). Then dry with normal paper afterwards. It's great.

Don't flush them before making absolutely, 100% shure they decompose tho! If you can't easily tear them with your hands, no matter what the packaging says, they will fuck up your plumbing. This can get really expensive, so when in doubt, use a trash can.

  • I meam, this is true, but labeling all modern conservatives fans of monarchy is disingenuous. There are also fans of unregulated capitalism, racism, facism und probably many other -isms going around!

  • This is cursed af :d

  • The answer my friend is pasta. It's also something to nibble on if you are bored after your drink. Pasta straws are the best
