It was pretty bad. He missed a lot of school. I think he ended up repeating grade six. I never saw him much after that, but I did hear that he got married to another person I went to school with eventually, so presumably his life wasn't ruined or anything.
There was a solar eclipse when I was in grade six. One of my classmates was riding his bike home, and was stupidly looking at the eclipse, and got hit by a car. The irony.
This made me briefly wonder if the flat earthers also think the sun revolves around the Earth, but then I remembered I don't really care what they think. I wasted a not-insignificant portion of my late-20s and early-30s trying to reason with unreasonable people online. I'm done with that.

For fun, we just tried to kill the guy in the image. He's supposed to be one of the most powerful wizards in the entire world or something. Surprisingly, we succeeded. It was only his simulacrum. The attention to detail in this game is amazing.
Eclipses might be a dime-a-dozen, but Halley's Comet doesn't mess around. My grandad saw it twice. I hope to, too. It comes once every 75 years. The last time was 1986. The next is 2061. If you were born today, you'd have to live to be 112 years-old to see it a second time.

Star Trek. I'm in Deep Space 9. I've never seen anything (except for the Abrams' travesties) that came after Voyager, so I'm pretty excited to eventually give the newer stuff a go.
I highly suspect it comes out the other end shortly after being ingested. Unless there are rules against that or something. Somehow, I feel like the mayo-eating professionals aren't exactly well regulated.
I use multiple monitors for audio production. My use case is a bit weird since I code Csound and use a DAW, which is unconventional. It's great for having the DAW up on the 4k, and some code or docs or both on the 1080p, 144Hz. If you didn't guess from the mixture of resolutions and frame rates, I've got gaming covered as well.
Truthfully, the 4k probably has the real estate to do all that on its own, but it was the last monitor I bought and why not use the other? I'm too lazy to figure out a setup to hook up the other 1080s I have lying around. (And don't need the space in any case)
That's a great idea! I have an old HDD and a 300 watt PSU lying around somewhere. I suppose I could just mount it all on a board.
