  • I've paid for YouTube premium pretty much since it started being a thing and had to drop it recently for financial reasons. Simply existing these days feels like I'm drowning. The bombardment of ads and frequent notifications to come back are making me want to ditch YouTube entirely. I've been using YouTube in Firefox with desktop site requested to play my videos in the background and I try to use odysee as much as possible now. Their price hikes along with no recognition of how long I've been a paying member has really gotten to me.

  • I've worked IT for over a decade and most of my work clothes I get from thrift stores and Costco. More important than the cost of your clothing is knowing how to match colors and patterns. If you're going to be working a helpdesk position, they're probably not going to expect a custom tailored suit unless the company is Goldman Sachs or something. You actually look really good in that button-up IMHO.

  • She was caught on camera fondling a guy in the theater. It probably would have gone unnoticed if she hadn't called attention to herself by disrupting the show, vaping, and then denying that she was vaping.

  • You should probably do some research on the subject. Intersex and trans people exist however uncomfortable you feel about it. They just want to exist without their existence constantly being questioned.

  • So, I appreciate that you seem to genuinely want to understand trans people. You should keep in mind that being trans means different things to different trans people and not everyone's journey is going to be the same. The reason that we give gender affirming treatment and are supportive of trans people when they go through transition is because it leads to the best mental health outcomes. This doesn't even involve surgery most of the time. If you accept homosexual people as they are, would it really be such a stretch to do the same for trans people? They just want to live life without their very existence being constantly questioned. If you meet a trans person, you might be surprised how kind and genuine they can be.
