I'll have to double check, nothing immediately stands out as wrong, the game is on an NVME, I'm running 3600mhz cl14 memory, and I just redid the thermal paste on my CPU. With all that being said, most other games I play get 100+fps, including Forza Horizon 5 with its known memory leak issue and Battlefield 5, so I don't think anything is wrong with the system

I've checked for new drivers daily since the game came our, the ones I have are from mid-august though so maybe I'll double check again

Kiss my ass Todd, my 6700xt and Ryzen 5 5600x shouldn't have to run your game at 1440p native with low settings to get 60fps

Okay, so how is this different from saying "I don't care if they're gay, as long as it's in the privacy of their own homes"? It's the same sentiment about what is (to some) also an immutable characteristic about their personality

I don't think he mentioned competition in his comment, rather he's stating the bare minimum for survival

I did 4 years on active duty and 6 months in Initial Entry Training (Basic and AIT). They're going to yell at you, you're going to be stressed, but unlike the movies and the TV shows, they aren't there to break your spirit and make you a mindless drone. You'll be yelled at for 2 reasons:

1)You fucked up, and if you fucked up in a firefight, people could die.

2)Someone else fucked up, and if they fucked ip in a firefight, people could die and you have to pay for it.

Either way, your Drill Sergeants aren't there to do anything more than teach you to be a soldier. The people that come out of the military and act like they're unfeeling assholes were that way when they went to basic, and it's all a show I assure you.

Basic will be the most fun you'll never want to have again, and honestly it's a blast. Not once have I regretted joining and seeing what my life has become because of my time in.

All that being said, you can refuse to train and get chaptered out, but the fastest way out of Basic is through it. You've got to embrace the suck, grit your teeth, and then you'll wake up 2 and a half months later and you'll be wearing your dress uniform and going and getting a steak with your loved ones before heading off to AIT.

This is just ridiculous. One guy doesn't like Austin, so it's a terrible place? As someone who has lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona, and Texas, I can tell you I've liked Texas the best, and I much prefer Austin and Dallas to pretty much any other city I've been to.

This is just how it seems to go, before reddit there was Digg, after Digg went down, everyone went to reddit, now that reddit is going down, people are migrating to alternatives, with Lenmy being the most prominent one right now. I think Lemmy's ability to have multiple instances will help cement its popularity though
