Sekiro wasn't as hard for any of my friends then if was for me, that game practically made me not hesitate, even just a little.

Then there's ULTRAKILL that game aant you to do everything from muscle memory or it's straight up going to kill you, Have not perfected the final challenge, but the game is extreamly fun.

And to give you another example, let's sag the Keli games. Oxygen NotnIncluded and Don't Starve (Together), these two can be the two hardest games I've ever played. Easly clocking in more then double the playtime then the previous two, and yet I've never beaten neither of them. In Oxygen I managed to get to the "mid game", as the community calls it, ONCE, on m most recent. In Don't Starve all my notable achievements are because I have friends that play way better than me and we played co-op.

These games are easly in my top 10, making me work for the reward is much more fun. Played Legue and Fortnite 1k hours in both. I hate them for making me addicted and stealing my life. Oh, also you asked for younger gamers, I'm 17.

I'd say lucky you, but man AI is wonderful. Like it'll have lasting negative effects that's for sure.

I mostly use it for 3 things:

• to do my homework, fk school
• syntax, like "[1..] in py"
• to write one-liners (in code) or regex or something that'd take much more time then worth.

never used that addon before, could work. Something I failed mentioned, but tryied to hint at is that the default Lemmy looks bad imo. And hotswitching accounts are cool. While default lemmy lacks features, like some apps count your "score", how cool's that?

I personally made the jump, caz I'm trying to be more conscious about my digital life. When I hopped on here, asked this and that, read/wrote comments, the community was just so much better (still is). This wholesome, selfless, helpful bunch in one place. I really can't care about not being a terraria fandom alive here (one of my most active subs for a while). I stay for the people.

oh yeah, right, the backlash you could get. That makes it not worthwhile at all. And as you said Discord is just better if chats between students. Bummer.

I don't know about lemmy, probably woudn't be good. But the Idea that there is an exclusive school social media that's reddit-like, maybe with a few tweaks so that "admin"(teacher) posts don't get spammed out, sounds wonderful. Kids can shitpost, gossip and make connections much faster and easier. Not mentioning the fact that some introverts won't even make new friends any other way, thinking about the "clinically-online" types.
