I think you misunderstood my original comment. I was criticizing the source rather than the story itself. No, I don't think the New Yorker article is fake news.

I promise you I wouldn't, Jezebel is the equivalent of Breitbart. (Media matters too)

The world is not ending, this is a very slow rolling problem. And humans will solve it for sure. Worst case scenario, quality of life goes down a bit but it would still be much higher than what the average human experienced for 99.9% of our history.

It's always a good idea to use a more neutral but still credible source.

Just archive it, easy paywall bypass

I don't know, this seems more about not interfering with police work than stopping the public from filming police. I do think people should be allowed to film them.

I'd make voting as hard as possible. Heck, put a labyrinth filled with riddles in front of every voting booth. (Culturally neutral riddles OF COURSE)
