Tesla's have a button to electronically open the door and immediately below it they have a traditional pull handle to open the door.

  • Doesn't AlmaLinux offer professional support?

  • Regardless of whose fault it is, it's unacceptable that half the people with a discrete GPU have nigh incompatible hardware. It's more akin to using snow tires breaking your car than a jet engine.

  • I can say she was convicted of two counts of both R.C. 2903.02(A) & (B)—basically "normal" murder and felony murder. Clearly they thought she did it on purpose and because she was committing another felony. I can't say why those don't merge together under Ohio law or if they are supposed to. Ohio is a fairly statutory state, so maybe they overwrite that common law rule?

  • Uh, I think society is pretty darn dependent on everyone working to sustain it.

  • Not being fully developed ≠ nonexistent

We shouldn't remove all consequences for your actions until you turn 25. Young people are a little dumber, but they're not infants. They should still be able to think for themselves.

  • Her insurance premium is 100.2% of her salary?

  • It's basically the same as AliExpress or Wish but with the junk being warehoused in the US instead of China. So you can get your junk in like a week instead of a couple months.

  • Codidact is a non-profit, open-source alternative run by (mostly former) SE people.

  • He didn't defend Musk at all. He was just commenting on the style of the conversation. But trying to come up with a new school-ground insult for someone every thread is admittedly immature and makes it really hard to follow the conversation if you're not terminally online. It's like everyone is trying to copy Donald Trump now.

  • I don't think the training data has really been updated since its release. This is just them tuning the model, either to save on energy or to filter out undesirable responses.

  • I agree that there's nothing wrong with being any ethnicity (although that's a creepy way to say it), however the Russian public does have extremely high support for Putin's actions: https://www.statista.com/statistics/896181/putin-approval-rating-russia/

Notice the huge jump in approval when he invaded Ukraine. Only FDR, Truman, Kennedy, and the Bushes have ever gotten that high of approval in the US.

  • If you don't have a walk-in door or window, no. You'd need someone to pick out otherwise remove the lock.

  • I was thinking Tijuana, but that might work too.

  • It's a DDoS attack, according to the admins in Matrix.

  • Part of the problem is discoverability. If people don't use my instance, they rarely know we have independent communities like !todayilearned@civilloquy.com. Some, like !games@civilloquy.com are really shadowed by larger versions where some sort of multi community subscription could help a lot.

  • Obviously those things (except capitalism and some wars) are bad, but literally every country has a history of essentially the same thing.

  • The leagues may be unprofitable. I have no idea. But individual sports teams typically make bank.

  • I thought they undid that after a few days?
