When I’m eating a meal with different sides I’ll eat a little of everything with each bite. As I get towards the end of my meal I’ll plan out my last 4-5 bites and make little piles of food that contain everything so that I don’t run out of any particular side.
I stopped giving them presents when they were around 20-22 years old. I transitioned to cash for a couple years then we just changed our gift-giving to a secret Santa type process instead
Lol the origami section was the very first place I would check when I visited the library as a kid. I would always get so bummed if they were all checked out
Your first sentence is a really good point. Many cis-gendered people thing it’s pointless to add their pronouns in their email/bio, but it helps to not out those who are trans. If everyone/most people state their pronouns then it makes it harder to unnecessarily identify those who are trans.
This was my favorite also. I love knowing how and why things work so all science was naturally interesting to me. Math was a close second since it felt like doing puzzles which was very satisfying. English and history were my least favorite since it involved a lot of memorization or creativity which I lack.
I like to collect board games, trading cards, and vinyl records. I am very concerned about storage space so I try to collect only what I really enjoy or what I’ll realistically use.
Ugh this is me with D:OS2 right now. I’m still in Act 1 but I spend more time looking up class builds and reading guides online than actually playing the damn game. I’m probably only going to ever have time to play it once so it gives me major FOMO not being 100% happy with my choices before progressing further :/
Sometimes I feel like we’re living inside a firework. Like we’re just on an infinitesimally tiny fragment of an explosion that happened billions of years ago. Perhaps in another scale the entire universe is created and destroyed in the blink of an eye.
If a being were the size of a galaxy, how would our solar system appear to them? Would it look debris swirling around in air? Yet it spans countless lifetimes in a few seconds.
The idea of time. It’s insane to me to think about events happening at different times in different places. Or for the same event to take different amounts of time depending on your reference points.
The sun is 8 minutes away from us, so we are looking at it 8 minutes in the past. If it were to suddenly disappear, it would take 8 minutes for us to find out. That’s mine-blowing to me! It’s like the past, present, and future are all happening at the same time.
Nobody cares to humor me when I bring the topic up lol
Every day before bed. If I exercise earlier in the day then I’ll shower twice.
