  • They just showed an onboard replay on F1TV of HUL being impeded by PER in the penultimate corner. Should be a grid penalty for PER.

  • The only similar-ish case I can remember is Spa 1998. Several teams (Tyrrell, Arrows, Prost) had both of their cars involved but only one spare car per team available for the restart.

I also vaguely remember that at some point during the 50s a driver gave his car to his teammate during the race (driver switches were allowed back then).

But those are nowhere near the current situation. It's really bonkers. If Williams isn't confident that SAR can perform well then why did they sign him at all?

  • Just installed v121 and I got a notification upon starting the app.

Seems to be working. Thank you!

  • Doesn't work with a setting > 15 minutes for me either. I currently have it set at 30 minutes and didn't receive a notification about your reply.

    Thanks for looking into it!

  • Thanks. It doesn't seem to work though. I've set it to check for messages every 10 minutes but I get no notification. (The app was closed during that time) 🤔

Does anyone have the some problem? I'm on Android 14 on a Pixel 7 Pro.

  • Notifications! Yes! Thank you.

(Can someone please reply to this, so that I can test if they work for me? Thanks. 🙂)

  • So there are several special Riker action figures but no "regular" Riker action figure with a proper uniform? There's only the one with the torn uniform top.

    Weird decision.

  • Oops, you're right. I just saw the publication date. Well, ignore the post then. I doubt that this movie will actually happen anyway. 😄

  • Excerpt regarding the story:

!While plot details haven’t been shared, we do have an understanding of when the movie will take place decades before the original 2009 Star Trek film. This is very confusing, as the 2009 star trek film takes place across multiple years, and multiple timelines. This might mean decades before the main events of the movie. The main events of 2009 take place in the Kelvin Timeline in 2255. However the Kelvin timeline only started in 2233. So if this takes place anytime before 2233, it would be canonical to both the Kelvin and Prime timeline.!<

!The other option is that it takes place decades before the events of the movie in the prime timeline, in 2387. An option this movie has is to tie into the backstory of Star Trek: Picard, and possibly even explain why the Romulan Sun went supernova in the first place! I doubt this will be the case, as it will probably be set in the Kelvin Timeline, sometime after the Narada destroys the U.S.S. Kelvin.!<

Sounds to me like it'll be >!taking place in the prime timeline either way!<.

  • This sounds pretty good actually because it addresses my main concern with DISCO after the time jump. There has been almost no world building in the last two seasons. The 32nd century still feels like a blank canvas and a wasted opportunity. Particularly season 4 could have taken place during any other era without needing to change anything about the story.

And that they don't drag out the mystery is a huge plus too.

I'm much more optimistic about season 5 now.

  • I have my phone on default settings (regarding display/size). It's perfect on every other app and the OS UI in general. It's just small in Sync. Bumping everything up one size makes it identical to every other app and the OS.

  • Default font size could be too small for most people.

I agree. I'd say that I have somewhat good eyesight but I had to bump everything one size up.

  • Thank you, ljdawson ♥️

  • Wasn't a fan of the holodeck episodes either. But they needed to produce 26 episodes a year. I don't blame them for doing some filler episodes.

  • Worf suffered discommendation and was stripped of his honour in “Sins of the Father”.

By the time Boimler is around Worf had gotten his honour back....and lost it again, and got it back... I think. It's hard to keep track. But his family honor was restored in "Redemption' for helping Gowron in the civil war.

  • I'm not using two-button navigation but there was one nice thing it did in Android 9: you could flip the pill to the right and hold it to scroll through open apps until you've reached the app you wanted to switch to (or move your finger left/right to scroll in that direction), and only then lift the finger.

Unfortunately that only worked in Android 9. In Android 10 you could only swipe to the very next app. Not sure why they butchered that carousel navigation; probably to bring it in line with full gesture navigation.
