If you don't want to have a politically dominated feed don't subscribe to political communities.
The subscribed feed is there for a reason. To have your own curated feed of things you want to see and that is possible from any instance (given that the instance you are on isn't defederated from a bunch of other instances that have most of the content you want to see)
The sensor to detect the orientation of the phone is the gyroscope sensor not the accelerometer, which is only there to measure acceleration of the phone.
There were many third party Reddit apps before Reddit had their official app. And you could argue that Jerboa is the official Lemmy app since it is made by one of the main Lemmy devs.
Please give us "follow system theme" for reader mode on mobile, I beg you. I just can't understand why it's available for desktop but not for mobile.
