  • Same here.

Also responding in a post doesn't refresh. I get finished with what I wrote and hit the little "send" icon at the top and the page goes back to what I saw before posting. Refresh? Nothing. If I exit the post completely out and then go back in, I can see my post then.

  • Hard no. I'll move on like I did a year ago from Reddit, and I was on that site for 14 years.

Just from a political/nation-state viewpoint, it would needlessly expose information to make it easier for countries and political parties to keep some kind of "social score" and decide when to do something to you. China already does this kind of stuff.

We need to make it easier for everyone/anyone to do this? Think about all of the super-divisive issues at hand. People can already get a sense of your views from your responses, and that should be it.

  • That was a big factor, as was Comey. However, let's not forget Julian Assange releasing her emails and also how the DNC snuffed out Bernie. Her arrogance about it being her turn was just the nail on the coffin.

  • The rise of Harris instantly cast Trump in a new light. He formerly seemed more ominous and threatening, which, whatever its political drawbacks, signaled strength; now he seems not just old but low-energy, stale, even pathetic. He has become the political version of Fat Elvis.

Haha, that's a pretty apt comparison. It's going to be interesting if his antics after being called weird lead him to even crazier antics, leading to new mockery, spiraling uncontrollably. It would be a fitting end. We can only be so lucky...

  • I just can't understand the complete arrogance. Why do people suddenly think it's okay to get in front of a mic and say things that are very bigoted, and do it with confidence?

Granted, it's Coulter and she's got a gold medal for some Olympian level dumb shit. But man, when are some of these folks going to go away?

  • Lol, that's funny that it really is 5'9." It sure doesn't seem like it when we're all on it.

Yes, you're pretty close. It's annoying to me and if there were comfortable high speed trains available, I'd likely take more time so I could be less stressed by the entire experience.

  • I think AA's issues are like most airlines: greed.

Their folks are friendly. I've never had a rep that I was pissed at, whether it was in the plane or at a counter. In fact, I'd say their folks go well above others I've ridden with (I'm looking at you Frontier).

I do, however, wish airlines didn't think the median size if a person is 5'9" weighing in at a buck fifty. They stuff us on top of each other and make sure they maximize revenue by barely having enough planes to cover routes, so they're always packed.

"Oh, but you can fly first class!" Nah, screw that. Give me a plane with no first class seats and enough leg room so I can move my legs a bit and we can all lean back just 2 more solid inches. The stress levels for everyone would magically improve, packed plane or not.

I know, I know, pipe dream.

  • That's one thing Microsoft can't do: give us a check box that says "always do this" on some of the shut down hangs. My audio drive does it here and there...not enough of an issue to go mess with it. Still, my computer will patiently wait for me to click the damn button.

  • If you can lay flexible material directly onto the roof, perhaps it can just be the roof, replacing traditional shingles.

It'll be expensive at first until it's in wide production, assuming it gets that far without a big flaw being found.
