So glad I canceled prime about 9 months ago at our annual renewal. Turns out, packages arrive within a couple days regardless. It’ll say Thur but arrive Tue, consistently.

Prime Video, I don’t miss it at all.

As a high school student, I had a job like this for about a week. On my last day, I received this call just like yours and I said “You are quite possibly the stupidest person I’ve ever interacted with” because they were yelling this type of nonsense and screaming over me.

I do not regret my exit to the call center work life. You people have a special type of patience and deserve to be paid far more.

When I made my comment, I assumed people knew this already. “Becoming the standard” was meant to mean the price of standard trims will reach this level in the years ahead.

Google has spent the past decade killing their brand. They’d launch new services, get people using them, then remove them with little notice.

Now they are ruining Chrome with their DRM initiatives, causing people to switch to Firefox.

Google search is getting really really bad to the point I’m having to use AI and alternative resources on some topics.

Everyone thinks their demands are ridiculous but turn a blind eye to truly ridiculous executive compensation.

All we know for sure, the $100k truck will become standard as the cost will flow to the consumer instead of coming out of executives for their failures.

When I started, I setup hosting and created 100 websites selling other people’s products. It was like $50/mo to do it. There’s ways to start a business without capital.

These days I would do TikTok videos selling other peoples products. No hosting needed

Motivated employees get taken advantage of with more work with no pay raises. These workers have finally learned and reduced their production to be even with those around them.

P.S. If this is you, like it was me, learn entrepreneurship. The harder you work, the more success you have.

That’s a “quiet layoff” usually, unless an employee tells the press.
