I prefer Signal to Whatsapp. IDC about Whatsapp having my data. The point is choosing the app which most suits your needs and wants.

I doubt the people who already commented will read that, but if you live in another country than the people you contact, you have to pay extra for calls and SMS. That's the sole reason I use Whatsapp. I cannot afford not to. The only people I've ever met who don't use it are some Asians who use some Kakao app instead.

I live in Germany and in my city they're slowly trying to re-publicize (is this even a word? I won't look it up, my mobile data is scarce - if anyone was wondering why I'm not looking stuff up) energy sector and I'm all for it. Their private Internet/phone providers ruined the infrastructure so much they're lightyears behind other countries, including those which are "poorer" economically. Capitalism literally slows down progress and makes more people poorer.

I think a more adequate solution would be giving all voters a break down of party promises before they make a vote, with some outside organization designated for providing mandatory checks on the party's previous promises and whether/how they delivered them.
