  • I can't seem to find it now, but there is a story out there that earth is considered a lethal planet and the wider alien universe considered it unable to support life, or something like that. It was kind of a "never ending" book as it was constantly being added to.

  • The green speed stick for deodorant. Not sure what that scent is. The solid stick, not the gel. The gel feels weird on my pits.

Using whatever my wife buys for shower gel. I think it's Native Cucumber Melon? And some generic tea tree shampoo.

  • It needs a good Xbox app for me to switch. I could deal with dlna, but my wife and daughter need the easier interface plex has, and unless I can at least partially match that I can't switch.

  • I use lemmy pretty much exclusively on mobile, so I didn't see the rule list when I was posting there. If I did I wouldn't have bothered posting. To be honest it's a stupid rule anyway. Any post that doesn't support the echo chamber is immediate trolling and grounds for a ban? Stupid.

Keeping in mind I didn't see the rules, I didn't think it would be an issue to have a discussion about that specific instance and point out that it may not be the best example of what the sub is for. That's why I found the body cam, watched it, and pointed out the specific time stamps that supported the article that was posted, and went against what the person I was talking with was saying. That same person who, it turns out, is also the mod that banned me. Yeah, I got snarky, but it was only on response to the snark that was directed at me first. And the ban happened after I posted the video proving the points that I was making.

  • I sent them a message in their online portal at the beginning of September and have yet to receive a response. Looking at my loan payments it seems like the interest is being calculated at 30%. Is that correct? Seems high, but I'm not sure. If that is true I would be better off getting a personal loan at a lower rate and paying that off.

Edit: I just looked. It should be closer to 3-4%. I think I'm going to have to call them. I'll do some math first to make sure since it's 4 different disbursements so maybe they are correct? IDK.
