  • I'm not that worried about complexity. More about capacity and egress charges. It's 7$ a month for unlimited storage and no egress on the personal plan VS 5$/TB a month for B2. It would be 20$ a month+ for me to go B2.

  • Not 100% true. A while back I bought a ton of dvds from a going out a business sale for like 10c each. I ripped them onto my server and stuck the dvd in storage.

  • I used to eat there a lot when they had the never ending riblets. Wouldn't be surprised if I am the reason they stopped doing that. On more than one occasion the manager gave me coupons for so much % off the next visit if I would leave.

  • The issue seems to stem from the fact that the blocked communities posted direct links to copyrighted content. Duentonhave federation works those links get cached onto this instances server possibly making them liable for them.
