Pickles is what I came to say. My exception is that I don't mind cucumbers at all. I love vinegar and haven't met a seasoning or herb I didn't like. Except the combinations used in pickled cucumbers.
I ferment and pickle my own other vegetables. I should love pickled cucumbers. I'm not a picky eater. I eat bizarre stuff from around the world. But pickles is the one food that just shuts everything down immediately.
It sounds like an apartment building restriction, not a Spectrum restriction. The building wasn't run for ethernet so they just put in wifi with a single modem for the building and called it a day.
My really obvious one, and a huge source of problems for me, is Discord. But the biggest one was a wild one:
Irfanview
It is a super-fast image viewer and simple image editor. Supports every format I've ever thrown at it. Bulk conversion and resize works like a charm. Hell, it's half the reason I haven't moved to Linux for my daily use.
I fairly regularly work with someone who, in their organization's alias scheme, was given the email address of an 80s cartoon villain. It rules so much and I doubt she's even in on the joke.
A $30 bidet changed my entire quality of life. Couldn't recommend it enough. It's been neat to see them popping up more in local stores, though. A decade ago, that was unheard of.
Ages ago, I had the owner of a business I supported tell me I could remote into his computer any time that day, it would be available to me. I remoted in about 5 minutes after that call and he was amidst some fullscreen hardcore pornography. I respect that sort of move.
MMOs were always my thing. I'm almost glad I don't know exactly how much time I buried into World of Warcraft back in the day. I haven't touched it in 15 years and it's probably still in the lead. I play a fair bit of FFXIV these days but not like I did WoW. Asheron's Call 2 was a big part of my life for a long time but it's been offline most of my life.
Among recent games I've actively played for years, Rocket League and Minecraft are for sure at the top.
I look forward to seeing OP on Chubbyemu.
