  • It seems that this rumor does not have any solid ground to stand on. Until its verified that its the musky boi, I can only take this another shitposter amongst millions on 4chan. If it does turn out to be him I can’t imagine that he would be able to hold onto his popularity amongst the right

  • It is known yeah. Another user commented it. If you take a wing and put it in a wind tunnel you can put sensors in its wake to measure the pressure. By manipulating the fluid flow you can change the pressure. So low pressure on top and high pressure on bottom. Multiply that by the surface area and you get a force. Smaller force on top of the wing, lower force on the bottom of the wing. So the wing goes up. Of course theres some physics going on in the fluid that explains the change in pressure, but this is just a quick and simply-put explanation because I took a fat amount of zquil and am tired.

Edit: I had to do this in a wind tunnel during one of my undergrad courses. It was fun playing with the wind tunnels, would recommend

  • I never though of it like this. But I like thinking of it this way. I am excited to watch lemmy grow though. I have faith that it will go and become a lot more popular. At that time, it will be nice to have more niche communities that are active.

  • I once asked chatGPT to write a simple RK2 algorithm in python. The function couldve been about 3 lines followed by a return statement. It gave me some convoluted code that was 3 functions and about 20 lines. AI still has some time to go before its can handle writing code on its own. Ive asked copilot/chatGPT several times to write code (just for fun) and it always does this

  • No. Try to think critically next time. AI has been mostly garbage which is why I dislike it. It should not be used in court. Did you even read the article? If so, re-read it

  • Ngl, this is a weak ass argument. Nearly all ads are trash and just get ignored. The ad industry has caused more problems than anything specifically/especially with privacy. There is some validity to ads in the sense that it does make it easier to find new products. I would be fine with ads (to a reasonable extent) in stores to show new products they carry. But the “good” ads (one that actually provide any kind of useful information) are way overshadowed by the bad ads. Its just time to cut the balls of this monster. Im sick of AI generated ads especially. I see them on youtube a lot as youtube will let just about anybody or anything to drop an ad on their website.
