Nothing lol he has no power over anything in El Salvador, he can talk to the president but I'm pretty sure the President has prior comittments in this matter. This is a photo op. Like the filibuster, they're continuing to virtue signal to voters instead of leading and legislating. This does nothign to convince a handful of republicans to join them in reigning in trumps power. Pure optics. No strategy. I've seen headless chickens act more decisively.

How about the legislatures stay home and legislate and you can send a fucking staffer or emissary for the photo op. FFS.

Well, fortunately for all of us, we can just skip the life lessons part and send her straight to an El Salvadorian prison, before closing up that little loophole. Won't be long till the pendulum swings away from these crazies.

The idolization of these concepts is probably at a life time high for me. It's always been there in the background, just not as main stream and in your face.

This is not true. I remember traveling to Indonesia in 2013 and having a conversation with a local about how all of his neighbors were going into debt to buy luxurious vehicles they did not need. As soon as one of them bought one the rest of the neighborhood had to have one to compete. I found this completely fascinating and I’m sure the trend hasn’t changed. It’s probably grown. Consumerism is a global phenomenon.

I wasn't a big fan of our trajectory either. I'm so thankful we could just speed up the process and have all the results at once. You we're pretty much right on the money. I think the Zero Coupon bonds are more of a hedgefund favorites. Your average investor is going to be holding the couponed version in their 401k.
