Yea fair. I came around to it while typing my comment. I appreciate the insight it made me come to other enlightening conclusions.

I came to the conclusion 2 hours ago that the problem with this country is not the government, but the two parties holding it hostage. I envision a country where we form 2-3 new parties who can represent their constituents and protect the Constitution. I think Dems are traitors too. I think I would vote for a party that was lead by AoC and guided by Bernie. Idk who hogg is but ya i have serious questions about a 25 year olds understanding of our country and it's issues. I think if he's vice chair of the DNC i should know more about him and his qualifications to chose candidates? Don't you beleive in transparent democracy?

Yea i guess the most simple explanation, that is most coherent with the rest of the administration's actions, is that it's just a mob style shake down of every major economic player. Pure extortion as the japanese said.

It's kinda bullshit and could be addressed with some light propaganda messaging over the course of 5 years. It's a direct result of Fox news propaganda, and historically engrained racism. Absolutely. As an investor and enjoyer of US markets and economy, I am truly terrified at the ramifications of all this. No safe harbors left to hide in and it appears to be hit the economy with a wrecking ball, and funnel the remaining funds to elon. I'm not so interested in US markets anymore and i can imagine this will have a lasting effect on investor confidence and companies bottom line.

What confuses me is if you steal all the money and destroy the stock market and USD in the process, what do you even do with the stolen wealth?

We're in post law society, I can't even believe the trump admin is going after tech giants. So i believe anything is possible here. I can't imagine anything the admin does will be good for society so maybe its safe to assume they will be broken up so elon can buy a chunk?

She's an amazing candidate. I'd vote for her. I dunno about the rest of the country tho. They seem to really appreciate white men when it comes time to vote. All other issues be damned.

Wanting change isn't a qualification. That basically includes every human on the planet. Does he have the education and the experience to be deciding the future leaders of the country. Does he understand the issues we face domestically and abroad? I guess im trying to get a better feel for how this young mans wisdom and strategy will benefit me, a democratic voter since 2008....

I'm totally down with primarying everyone. I'm also ready to see the older fuckers retire into consulting positions. I value their wisdom and experience, I do not value their inputs into our democracy. In short I am with you.

However this all reeks of populism, so I'd like to know which candidates we are spending money on. I also think that spending money campaigning against friendly seats is not a wise use of money in this time. Im sure those reasources could be better spent on common cause. This feels a bit like a witch hunt. Happy to see a long string of qualified candidates and be wrong tho!

I ran a company at 25, but i was not ready for that kind of leadership position. I learned so much between 25-30. Putting a fucking kid incharge of the DNC based on what? Who is this guy and what are his qualifications for this position?

Oh I know, I'm not a kid and I share your concerns for media literacy for future generations. Part of media literacy will be learning AI. Kids will need to know that reddit is removing real people, and replacing them with AI's which are harming the AI data bases. Iran and China make propaganda tick tocks and that gets picked up. Russian disinformation seeps through right wing media and into the internet and onto AI's. I was just talking to the AI about it yesterday it's very aware. I'm aware. My mom has no idea, and is addicted to facebook products. Media literacy is the problem and there's really no way to teach it to the people left behind. I've been a student of it my whole life and its still a pretty complex problem to grasp. It is made worse by AI. but the solution is not, ignore AI. It's a tool and if you don't understand it it will be a tool to control you.

Well here's another republican trick. They used tax payer money to ship illegal immigrants to marthas vineyard, NYC, they basically flooded cities with immigrants for LOLS. Why can't we spend some money and flood DC with voters? Just throw a big old party in DC and obstruct everything. Time is of the essence. No one has time to fly to el salvador. Every second our leadership is not leading people against fascism, is wasted. People don't know what to do, they need to be guided, they need to be supported. They don't need feel good news articles that say "IM HELPING"

To be fair, it is actually quite useful from a business standpoint. I think it's a tool that you should understand. It can be a crutch but it can also be a pretty good assistant. It's like any other technology you can adopt.

They said the same thing about Wikipedia/internt in the early 2000's and really believed you should have to go to a library to get bonafide sources. I'm sure that's long gone now judging by literacy rates. You can check the AI's sources just like a wiki article. Kids are going to need to understand the uses, and drawbacks of this technology.

That was my gut instinct too, who is this kid, how did he get a vice chair position, and ya who are these young candidates and do they understand global economics, international relations, military.
