  • People across the board think that they will never need any math or science after leaving school. That's how you get jokes that anyone who was not asleep in physics would not have created.

  • I'm so old, when I started, software was either part of the operating system, or we had to get it for free, as source to compile it locally. Yes, there were commercial software packages for some applications, but most of the everyday stuff (editor, file browser, file transfer programs, multi-user online games and their clients) was open source. And many of us contributed, me included. I wrote Gobelin, an NNTP news reader/filter/aggregator, and Connector, a frontend for multi-user online games.

  • I'm amazed! There is actually more than one car like that. I saw one with a similar "This is to compensate for my sub-inch penis spoiler" (but in a different color and place) and though it was a one-of-a-kind abomination. Looks like I'm wrong.

  • [Male] Twice+. I have read both the manual of the TI99/4A and the manual of the C64 several times over, and on top of that, also the Data Becker books on the C64 and the C1541 that include the OS' (well-)commented sources. I actually had to purchase both Data Becker books twice, as the first books started to fall apart.

I have also read nearly all the manuals of the Amiga 1000, including the application manuals and the programming documentation.
