  • Ender 3 pro owner here. I definitely need to level more than this person, but not even every print. I’ll go months printing nothing and when I fire it up, I get excellent adhesion right off the bat, no issues. Also never touched the z-offset, only fix it with manual leveling (no auto leveler)

  • This seems like one of those things that is nice and makes sense on paper until you really start to think about it.

  • Our reluctance to become monsters despite the incentive gives me hope.

  • The more you describe it as “cutting who is covered across all income levels”, the more it sounds to me like they are trying to keep it small to make sure they don’t roll out something totally broken that tons of people are relying on. Like a closed beta almost.

  • Plus, it says “made with real honey”. That plus it being a blend should have raised an eyebrow to investigate further.

  • Yup. Heavily featured on last week tonight as an example of what good looks like.

  • lol, amazing replacement. The more nonsensical, the better.

  • DO NOT RUN WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS

  • Have you met many 8 year olds? They are all fucking radicals. I’d say at least half are terrorists.

  • A Russian citizen living in America who supported Ukraine by donating money to them was warned by her partner that going back wouldn’t be safe. She said “nah, it’ll be fine” and was arrested shortly after in Russia.

This is very sad, but you didn’t know they’d be mad about that?

  • It’s an amazing toolkit. Highly recommend.

  • Counterpoint: there are native grasses.

  • I was hedging against a particularly snarky commenter showing up. You can do a 51% attack and theoretically corrupt it. In practice, that’s much more difficult.

  • Trustless systems aren’t a bad thing that has to step in when the good thing fails. Trustless systems are inherently better because you don’t have to trust a bank (or anyone for that matter).

Additionally, ledgers can be gamed/corrupted/falsified. This is significantly more complex (bordering on impossible) on the blockchain.

  • Russians invading us as well

Tumbleweeds are dried, uprooted bushes of Russian thistle, an invasive species that came to North America in the 1870s

  • Highly recommend buying a second hand/used Aeron chair. They are stupid expensive new, but luckily they are popular with tech startups. When those startups inevitably fail, they sell their chairs at a deep discount. I’ve bought two like that and I suspect they will last forever.

One is a decade old and the only thing that has failed was a hip joint. $12 on eBay and we’re back in business.
