  • If people's first thought about women's volleyball is that it's purely a sport for Voyeurism, then that's their bag to unpack on their own time. I watch Women's Gymnastics and Figure Skating since my wife got me into it and I won't entertain that shit with my friends. If I wanted to watch something just because there's hot people in it, then I'll just watch some regular ass porn.

I definitely won't shy away from the fact that there are incredibly attractive women participating at an elite level in these sports, but I'm all about equal opportunity and will also absolutely recognize some hot bros doing gymnastics and figure skating. Usually shuts people up when I start talking about how hot football players are on the team they like to rattle on about forever.

  • I think by 30 we'll have a new Daft Punk album.. They'll both miss the feeling of working creatively on one big project and it will likely be on the same scale as RAM where they use it as an opportunity to collaborate with people in music that they really admire.

  • Loved watching people race back to the barracks and crack open a beer as soon as they walked in the door.... Wonder why we have an alcohol related incidents problem in the US Armed Forces.....?...

    Hmm....

  • Sealab and ATHF is what turned me onto mc chris. I was really sad to find out he's a massive douche bag that got off on kicking random people out of his show for made up reasons...

The man's whole rap persona was about being a nerd who was bullied and then once he got the smallest bit of power he uses it to bully people at his shows to demonstrate that he's not a 4'8 high schooler anymore.

  • I've used industrial vitamix blenders at work and I have a Ninja at home. Unless you're making smoothies every single day there's absolutely no reason to pay 400 bucks for a vitamix. A ninja will suit the average person who needs a blender / food processor almost every time.

Tl;Dr: If you're cool with buying a Lexus to drive 5 miles to work every day instead of a Toyota then get a vitamix.

  • That was my family until this variant late summer. My kids brought it home after school started and a week later my wife and I had it.

After 4 days I was back up and moving around like nothing happened. If there's any variant to catch, apparently this one isn't bad at all compared to previous iterations.

Eris didn't have any lung involvement at all and was basically like a week long sinus infection with muscle aches, chills, and fatigue.

So now I've got a bit of natural immunity and I'll get my booster when I get my flu shot like I've been doing every year.

  • Dude, people get fired all the time after being arrested or accused of a heinous act. All of this well before ever going to trial. Businesses don't have to and often won't keep someone on that is a risk to their company, culture, or brand identity.

It absolutely sucks that people can lose their livelihood over "he said / she said", but the fact is that it happens all the time.

  • Trying to make someone crew and also have them pay a quarter million dollars to be crew without any training at all doesn't seem like the magical loophole they think it would be in contract law. Especially when it'll be comically easy in court to prove gross negligence with all the videos that doofus made about how much he hates maritime safety regulations and training.

  • The Smiths fight scene in the park that happens in Reloaded is arguably one of the best fight sequences out of the OT.

The first movie was ground breaking though and holds up so well. I think if Equilibrium had a higher budget and visionaries like the Wachowskis working on it, it likely would be as highly regarded as the Matrix.

  • I watched a guy get kicked out of the Costco food court area because he kept saying his dog was an "licensed" ESA. The Costco manager busted out a little card with the relevant federal laws for a service animal and listed all the rules the dog was breaking by lunging at people, not staying under the table, and barking it's head off at a real service animal that was just sitting calmly under it's owners table like nothing was going on around it.

Even if your dog is truly a licensed and trained service animal, but you've allowed it to continously break all the rules it's supposed to follow in a private business. They can still kick you out if your dog doesn't behave like it's supposed to be behaving. That's why it's a big no no to interact with working animals with their vests on and for owners to let their working animals to break the rules repeatedly by misbehaving and never correcting them.
