Been back into Honkai Star Rail, bur I'm really seeing things petering out for F2P, (pull funny money sources drying up,) so I've been slowing down on it.
Kinda wallowing around with what to play after that, but I think I decided on The Last Guardian. Never got very far and the giant hurt cat is fun to interact with.
I bought Vandals on the Switch. It's more Hitman GO than Laura Croft GO, but still good. Good soundtrack too.
Off the Switch I'm playing Destiny 2, (still haven't finished TFS,) amd seeing what my new, (to me,) Linux can handle with an integrated GPU. Thus far its hiddle folks and GeForce Now on a chromium browser.
Well, if you go to Pixel's website, (the creator,) you can download it for free. Itcomes with a new engine and English prepatched.
Its good. Combat is somewhat between FF VII R and Strangers in Paradise, and the plot carries several Best Ofs. I'm playing on "Story Mode" which feels more pre-Dark Souls. Looks great too.
Biggest knock I can give it is the main character has the dopey name of Clive. :p
Honkai Star Rail and Final Fantasy 16. Also, just bought Kuro Blaster after learning it was made by the guy who made Cave Story and not published by the company that ripped him off its Cave Story+.
Hopefully its something they actually fixed with the Switch 2.
The Rz trigger on my binbok is getting mushy. I actually need to look up how to fix that. Hopefully its the spring.
To get around it, I try and play shooter docked with my 8bitdo Pro 2, but with Warframe, if I'm playing on TV, I'll play the superior looking PSN version, (cross save just got enabled.)
If your looking for Little Sibling joycons, Five Below is selling some halfway decent ones for $15USD. The price is the best feature, but they're more usable than 16bit era generics.
In spite of getting new stuff, I've mostly been playing Warframe and Honkai Star Rail still. The latter is 100% grinding at this point. Too many characters needing their traces upgraded. Warframe I'm mostly trying to unlock the map, but I've also been building things and leveling them too.
I will say I've been playing Warframe mostly on PS5 and PC, but the Switch version is solid, if the graphics are cranked way down. Now that it has screws save, I'm way more interested.
What I should get playing is one of the four things I got for Christmas, Scarlet Nexux, FF XVI, Horizon Forbidden West, or Division 2. Might be playing more of the first today.
Well, its three weeks at a time with up to 20 renewals if no one else has it on hold. That...rarely happens with games. Since we got rid of late fees, you also have a week past the due date to bring itnback before they charge you, but if you bring it back afterwards, they remove the charge. Though since I work there, I feel that would be bad from.
I played it for a bit, but due to extenuating circumstances I had to return it. Got be playing BotW again though. Last save was in 2019.
Really enjoying it. It's VERY different from Bayonetta, (I have only played 1,) but still good. Tbh with how hypersexualized Bayonetta is, that was a worry going into a game featuring the same character as a tween.
The Brothers A Tale of siblings movement with the painterly art style and fairy tale vibes are all really good. Cereza and Cheshire work well as characters.
Dunno if it's woth the Nintendo tax, but I got it a lot cheaper on ebay. Worth it then.
Wandered away from my Switch for a bit. Been playing Honk Train. (Honkai Star Rail). It's pretty decent, though I'm starting to see the gatcha wall in the distance.
