  • So long and thanks for all the fish

So sad that it should come to this

We tried to warn you all but oh dear?

You may not share our intellect

    Which might explain your disrespect

For all the natural wonders that

    grow around you

So long, so long and thanks for all the fish

The world's about to be destroyed

There's no point getting all annoyed

Lie back and let the planet dissolve

Despite those nets of tuna fleets

We thought that most of you were sweet

    Especially tiny tots and your

    pregnant women

So long, so long, so long, so long, so long

So long, so long, so long, so long, so long

So long, so long and thanks for all the fish

    (yeah)

So long and thanks for all the fish

So sad that it should come to this

We tried to warn you all but oh dear?

    (oh dear)

Despite those nets of tuna fleets

We thought that most of you were sweet

    Especially tiny tots and your

    pregnant women

So long, so long, so long, so long, so long

So long, so long, so long, so long, so long

So long, so long and thanks for all the fish

  • I agree with a few small exceptions. I would not recommend skipping Star Trek V or any of the TNG movies but Nemesis. Star Trek V has many flaws, but it's a wild ride and it can be fun if you dig the goofy vibe. I actually enjoy the TNG movies. Insurrection feels like a solid 2 part episode and Generations lets you wave goodbye to the old crew one last time.

  • Back when I was a wee kid, I loved watching TOS reruns. At that time Babylon 5 was first aired and my older brother was a huge fan. I remember walking into the living room one day during an epic crew roasting of Alfred Bester and not realising it was a different show, my first thought was:

"Wow, why's Chekov so mean all of a sudden?"
