I figured out you could emulated the TI-84 plus on a smartphone for free, around 2012. I just used that for my college math class, but it probably would've been harder to get away with in a high school class.
I haven't seen Chuck Palahniuk mentioned, and he was very influential to a bunch of us millenials, I imagine. He is very good at writing about the nihilism of modern times.
Fight Club is the most popular example of his novels, and its a great read. I am also really particular to, Rant:The Oral Biography of Buster. Its such a weird story, and was one of the first books to really spark my interest in reading fiction. He has a bunch of other good novels I would recommend, like Snuff, Choke, and Lullaby.
I upvoted because Vonnegut is the GOAT and most definitely wrote some bangers after 1970, but his first well known books were published in the 1960s. So, he is pretty close to OPs cutoff for modern writers, I guess.
A bunch of these terms were definitely used before gen z used them. Vibe, as a slang term, is a boomer creation. Ick is even older, and was first used in the 1940s.
You are so smart. Why don't poor people just move to a democracy? Its only requires a bunch of money and sacrifice. Poor people should just abandon all of their friends, families, and connections by spending all of that money that poor people are known to have. That way they can live in a democracy and vote not to be poor, or whatever.
Look, I definitely don't hate you, and hate racists as much as anyone other upstanding citizen should. I honestly appreciate you looking out for them, and the username you called out could be seen as sus, for sure.
Just don't let assholes steal the symbols for themselves, fuck them. Don't disparage someone for not knowing about the dogwhistle and/or using a symbol non problematically. That was really my only gripe.
Considering that Entropy Zero came out about 13 years after Half Life 2, I would hope it was better. It doesn't really seem fair to compare the two. They were developed in different times, with different tech, and different games to draw inspiration from. That's not to mention that Entropy Zero is a mod built on top of Half Life 2, and requires HL2s code to even run in the first place.
You sound like the kind of person who would just assume Hindu temples were made by Nazis because they contained swastikas. Just because some assholes used a symbol as a dogwhistle doesn't mean that the rest of the world should stop using it.
This is a silly but entertaining conversation, so I will continue the circlejerk.
You must be thinking of a small knife, as well. Most knives, especially the ones typically best for stabbing, are large. A butcher knife is as wide as most peoples foot. A hunting knife, or a typical boot knife, is maybe have as wide. Someone's foot could be sliced off in like three or four stabs, at most.
I agree that getting shot once is going to be worse than getting stabbed once, most of the time, but we were talking about 35 times. I think we could just agree that your foot would be completely fucked and stumpy either way.
Guns are more dangerous almost entirely because of range, in this scenario. If you get stabbed 35 times in the foot you will also be left with a stump and will bleed out.
Totally agree. Somebody who makes 100k aren't the problem at all, its the people who make salaries with at least a couple of more zeros added to the end. The people that OP should be mad at aren't ever struggling to pay a bill.
On Doomsday, ever since the womb ‘Til I’m back where my brother went, that’s what my tomb will say
Right above my government; Dumile. Either unmarked or engraved, hey, who’s to say?
-MF Doom, Doomsday
I really love the wordplay with his government name 'Dumile' having a double meaning of 'Doom'll lay'. There are a bunch of other MF Doom lyrics in contention for goat status, in my opinion.
At this point, I think some American politicians and policy makers are afraid of Cuba surpassing the US in living conditions if the embargo is dropped, and Cuba is given a fair shot. A thriving Cuba would serve as fodder for a leftward push in politics in the US, and I don't think any of the lobbyists or their puppets want that, at all.
Not to mention that, given the average age of said politicians and policy makers, one can only assume many of their brains are heavily washed with the Red Scare era propaganda.
Does that mean that, technically, you were the virus?
